Xbox Game Pass is the gift that keeps on giving, with Ultimate subscribers able to claim a new Games with Gold title now, Peaky Blinders: Mastermind. Of course, Xbox Game Pass is most known for its catalog of games that's updated practically every week. However, the highest tier comes with several benefits. For example, one Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perk let fans effectively watch WrestleMania at no cost, and the service is also bundled with EA Play and Xbox Live Gold.
Because of the latter, fans are also able to claim the Xbox Games with Gold titles made available every month. Because of Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Games with Gold has declined in popularity steeply, especially once it stopped offering Xbox 360 games too. At the same time, a free game is a free game, and the service has added a new one to claim this month.
For the uninitiated, Peaky Blinders: Mastermind is a puzzle-adventure game that takes place before the events of season one of the BBC and Netflix TV Show. In it, players join the Shelby family and follow the rise of Tommy as he investigates a sinister plot. Players are able to control Tommy, Arthur, Polly, and more; reset and rewind character paths to achieve perfect coordination; and utilize characters and stealth to solve intricate puzzles, all of which rely on key timing to master. It was originally released in 2020, but for any newer fans with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate that may have missed the tie-in, it's a great time to snag it at no additional cost.
Xbox Games with Gold List for April 2023
- Out of Space: Couch Edition (April 1 - April 30)
- Peaky Blinders: Mastermind *new* (April 16 - May 15)
Out of Space: Couch Edition is a well-reviewed party game, one where players must clean up remnants of alien goo and keep a spaceship's power on to survive. The goo is cleaned with basic materials like a mop, but the alien themselves can be eliminated by ejecting them into space, cooking them, and a couple of other methods. Couch co-op games are sometimes sorely missed, and this game scratches that itch.
Of course, if fans aren't happy with these games, there are plenty of other things to claim thanks to Xbox Game Pass. First-party title Ghostwire: Tokyo was just added not too long ago, and fans are almost able to delve into Minecraft Legends on Xbox Game Pass. Needless to say, the service offers a little something for everyone.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers get a handful of games every month.
