Xbox Game Pass users who are subscribed to the Ultimate tier have plenty of new goodies they can claim throughout September. It's been an incredible year for Xbox Game Pass so far, as subscribers have been treated to hit after hit. Earlier in the year saw Game Pass members able to snag Game of the Year candidates Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Blue Prince. Xbox first-party titles, like South of Midnight and Doom: The Dark Ages have also landed on the service, along with perhaps one of its biggest 2024 additions in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
Game Pass Ultimate users, while having to shell out more cash for the premium tier, get a little more bang for their buck in the form of monthly perks. These perks usually take the form of free cosmetic items that become available to claim each month, mostly in online multiplayer games. These goodies can also be free trials to streaming services like Crunchyroll. Last month, subscribers were treated to a host of free items in games like Apex Legends, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, PUBG, and Rainbow Six Siege X.

Now that September has begun, Xbox has unveiled its new list of free goodies that Game Pass Ultimate members can claim this month. Topping the list (via Pure Xbox) is The Finals' Welcome Pack, which will become available starting September 11, and includes 500 Multibucks, an XP booster, and the Scale of Heaven item set. Fans of Skate 3, Splitgate 2, and War Robots: Frontiers will have to act somewhat quickly, as these games' respective freebies—the Unlock bundle, Sabrask Ekki Ace skin, and Pilots Heart items—are only claimable until September 15. There are more items and bundles from a host of other games that'll be up for grabs this month, like World of Warships: Legends, Delta Force, The First Descendant, WWE 2K25, Asphalt Legends Unite, and Mecha Break.
There are even some perks that will be available to claim through October and November. Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis' September bonus will remain available until October 2, while Sea of Thieves' Rare Ruby emote can be snagged until October 4. The Call of Duty: Warzone Game Pass Pack is available until October 15, and Smite 2's Phantom Seas Poseidon Drop will remain available until November 5. Xbox is also giving Game Pass Ultimate subscribers a chance to claim 20% off wireless Xbox controllers as part of this month's Ultimate perks list. The offer ends on September 25.
Game Pass subscribers are about to have a big month, as the massively anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong prepares to release day one on the service on September 4. Other highly regarded games, like Nine Sols and I Am Your Beast, will make their way to the service this month as well. Double Fine's Keeper, Obsidian's The Outer Worlds 2, and PlatinumGames' Ninja Gaiden 4 are all set to grace Game Pass in October, making for an incredible fall lineup for subscribers paired with this new wave of Ultimate perks.
