The English voice cast for Yakuza 0 Director's Cut has been revealed. Scheduled to arrive for the Nintendo Switch 2 on the console's release day of June 5, Yakuza 0 Director's Cut promises to introduce plenty of new features to the beloved entry in the long-running action-adventure RPG franchise.
Announced during the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct livestream in April, Yakuza 0 Director's Cut will improve the fan-favorite title in several major ways, including graphical improvements and the introduction of a brand-new four-player online mode, Red Light Raid. Fans can also expect around 26 minutes of new cutscenes, detailing more of the lives of the ever-popular characters Kiryu Kazuma and Goro Majima. While the original 2015 title only came with a Japanese audio track, Yakuza 0 Director's Cut will include a complete English dub cast, making it even more accessible to a wider range of players. Now, the faces behind the game's memorable characters have been revealed.

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and Sega have officially revealed the English voice cast for Yakuza 0 Director's Cut, with Yong Yea stepping into the role of the legendary protagonist Kiryu Kazuma and Matt Mercer playing the eccentric mad dog Goro Majima. Other notable names on the cast list include Alejandro Saab (Akihiko Sanada, Persona 3 Reload), Kaiji Tang (Ichiban Kasuga, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth), and Bill Millsap (The Punisher, Marvel Rivals). Along with character trailers for both Kazuma and Majima, an additional video has been shared containing the theme song for Yakuza 0 Director's Cut, "Bubble" by Shonan no Kaze.

The original Yakuza 0 went down in history as one of the best open-world beat 'em up games of all time, and a decade after its release, both returning players and new faces will get a chance to experience the title on the Nintendo Switch 2. Set seventeen years before the events of the first game, Yakuza 0 follows Kiryu Kazuma and Goro Majima as they find themselves embroiled in a growing conflict between warring Yakuza factions in both Tokyo and Osaka.
Yakuza 0 Director's Cut isn't the only Sega title headed to the Nintendo Switch 2. Players will also be able to snag Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S on the console's launch day, while Sonic X Shadow Generations, Two Point Museum, and Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army will be released for the upcoming hardware sometime in the future. While it has yet to be officially confirmed, many also expect Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds to make an appearance on the Switch 2.
