Yakuza 0 is an absolutely massive game that transports players into the lives of protagonists Kazuma Kiryu and Majima Goro, set in the late 80s within the bustling, fictional Japanese cities of Kamurocho and Sotenbori. How to Unlock Nugget in Yakuza 0
To unlock Nugget, players must complete a challenge offered by Emiri, the employee at the Mach Bowl in Kamurocho, located in west Theater Square. Before she will offer this challenge, the player must have completed the following:
- Reached Chapter 5 of the game, unlocking the Real Estate Royale minigame.
- Defeat the Leisure King in the first area of Real Estate Royale.
- Raise Friendship with Emiri to 80% by playing rounds at Mach Bowl in any game mode.
As Kiryu's Friendship with Emiri nears its peak, a new dialogue option becomes available. In this interaction, Emiri excitedly proposes a challenge, promising a delicious turkey dinner as the reward. The task she sets for Kiryu involves bowling a Turkey in a single round, which means the player must score three consecutive Strikes.
Upon successfully bowling a Turkey and returning to Emiri, Kiryu is in for a surprise. The reward, while still poultry-themed, is unfortunately not the expected turkey. Instead, he receives a live chicken named Nugget who, peculiarly, becomes a manager in his real estate business. How to Bowl a Turkey in Yakuza 0
Bowling in Yakuza 0 involves considering several key factors. Players need to choose the right bowling ball weight and decide their starting position at the lane. Additionally, the angle for aiming the ball, the power level of the delivery, and also the amount of spin applied, which further adjusts the angle, are crucial. Finding and consistently applying the correct combination of these variables is essential for success.
In Yakuza 0, the challenge for players is to achieve a Turkey by bowling three Strikes in a row within a single game. The game offers a variety of strategies to accomplish this, but the technique outlined here is one we consider the most effective and easiest for players to replicate. It might require some initial practice; however, once players get the hang of it, repeating the process becomes more manageable. Selecting a Bowling Ball
For this strategy, choose the Heavy Tank (16-Pound) bowling ball.
Kiryu’s Position
To get in position, move the black dot 4 "clicks" left from center. This should put Kiryu right above the second dot on the foul line. If using a controller, make sure you are using the D-pad to make small movements and not the analog stick which results in far wider steps. You have a pretty free range of adjustment for this, so just make sure to position the black dot above the second dot as shown in the screenshot.
Aiming the Ball
Aim the ball straight toward the right gutter. While aiming, the bar will move quickly from side to side, which is daunting at first but actually makes it fairly easy to aim once you get used to the rhythm of its movement.
Power Level
You want to deliver at as close to maximum power (100) as you can manage, so don’t click until the bar is above 90.
Spin of the Ball
After the power level is selected, immediately use the analog stick or D-Pad to set the spin as high as it can go, 5 bars to the Left.
While it's certainly not the only technique, this is my personal favorite strategy to use to effectively and consistently bowl Strikes and get a Turkey in Yakuza 0. The only real difficulty in executing this strategy comes during the aiming phase, as the targeting bar will tick back and forth rather quickly. You want to click when the bar is pointing furthest to the right. It may take a bit to get used to the timing, but once you do its easily replicated and, once you’ve gotten the hang of it, you can secure your three strikes and earn your Turkey (and chicken) with ease.
