Do You Need To Play The Other Ys Games To Enjoy Nordics?
Although Adol Christin's adventures are presented in chronological order, new players can easily join the series at any point, as there are only a few references to previous games. Ys 10: Nordics takes places earlier in the series, set just after Ys 1 and 2, with Adol and his best friend, Dogi, getting caught up in another adventure on their way to Celceta, the setting for Ys: Memories of Celceta. Except for Ys Origin, the series always focuses on Adol , but it's a new adventure every time, and only Ys 1 & 2, which are packaged together, have the most continuity.
