There are a bunch of fun minigames Echoes of Wisdom players can try out spread throughout Hyrule. In addition to minigames like the Hyrule Ranch horse races or the Gerudo Desert's own Tough Mango Lab minigame, there is the Acorn Gathering minigame.

This Echoes of Wisdom minigame is unique in that it takes place in five different locations. Every Acorn Gathering minigame location rewards a good amount of Rupees and something special for players who are especially fast. All you have to do is collect Acorns, but by following these Acorn Gathering strategies for each course, you'll finish well before the time limit every attempt.

Acorn Gathering Minigame Routes & Tips

East Crossflow Plaza Acorn Gathering

Zelda Echoes of Wisdom Acorn Gathering Minigame Crossflow Plaza Jabul Waters Route

Location: east of Crossflow Plaza in the Jabul Waters region

Start by sending a Flying Tile south toward the first Acorn on top of the pillar
Use another Flying Tile aimed diagonally southwest to reach the second Acorn on top of a tree
Jump down onto the Lily Pad below to reach the third Acorn
Swim to the left, and dive underwater, to reach the fourth Acorn
Surface, then quickly swim and spin to the right, and jump on the lilypad for the fifth Acorn
Jump to the right to get the sixth and final Acorn

Northwest Hyrule Field Acorn Gathering

Zelda Echoes of Wisdom Acorn Gathering Minigame West Hyrule Field

Location: northwest from Hyrule Field, north from Gerudo Desert

Jump down and collect the first Acorn by the stone starting area
Go to the right to collect the second Acorn, then head south
Jump onto the ledge on the lower half of the course and continue left to collect the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth Acorns
Jump down and collect the seventh Acorn, then climb up the top of the central rocky area to get the eighth Acorn
Jump off the boulder heading up to get the ninth Acorn (slightly to the left) then go up-right to collect the tenth Acorn
Continue up-right and jump over the boulders to get the eleventh Acorn, then go down and exit this area to get the twelfth Acorn while heading right
Jump into the second boulder area to get the thirteenth Acorn, then jump out again and head down to get the fourteenth Acorn
Head down-left to get the fifteenth Acorn, then quickly spin-run to the right-most area
Jump up the rocky ledges, then use a Flying Tile to get across the first gap heading left.
Use another Flying Tile on the second gap to make it to the sixteenth and final Acorn.

North Hyrule Castle Acorn Gathering

Location: north of Hyrule Castle. A Rift must be cleared to access this Acorn Gathering Zelda minigame location.

Immediately jump onto the wall on your right to get the first Acorn
Follow the wall to the right and up to get the second Acorn, then jump across to the left to get the third Acorn on the bush
Head upward and jump on the wall again to get the fourth Acorn, then follow the wall as it turns left to get the fifth and sixth Acorns
Jump to the right to get the seventh Acorn on top of a bush, then summon a Trampoline to get to the top of the Northern Sanctum
Collect the eighth Acorn on top of the Sanctum, then jump down to the left and jump onto the left-side wall
Collect the ninth, tenth, and eleventh and final Acorns following the wall as it leads down

East Kakariko Village Acorn Gathering

Zelda Echoes of Wisdom Acorn Gathering Minigame Route Kakariko Village

Location: east of Kakariko Village, to the southeast of the Eldin Volcano region

Head to the right to get the first Acorn
Summon a Trampoline Echo beneath the tree and jump on top to get the second Acorn
Follow the trees to the down-left to get the third Acorn, then summon a Flying Tile headed left
Use the Flying Tile to quickly get to the fourth Acorn, then jump up on the ledge to get the fifth Acorn
Jump onto the ledge to the left to get the sixth Acorn, then head up-right and jump onto the tree for the seventh Acorn
Jump onto the tree next to you for the eighth Acorn, then drop down to the right to collect the ninth Acorn
Head up to get the tenth acorn, then finally drop down to the bottom-right to get the eleventh and final Acorn

West Hyrule Castle Acorn Gathering

Location: immediately west of Hyrule Castle

Spin and swim at the same time with the Zora Flippers equipped to quickly maneuver in this water-based Acorn Gathering minigame
Jump into the water and immediately collect the first and second Acorns heading left
Swim up-right to get the third Acorn, then up-left for the fourth Acorn
Dive underwater, then swim up to get the fifth and sixth Acorns
Immediately surface after getting the sixth Acorn to get the seventh Acorn
Quickly maneuver up-right for the eighth Acorn, then up-right for the ninth Acorn
The tenth and final Acorn should be to your up-right

Acorn Gathering Rewards in Echoes of Wisdom

At each location, completing the Acorn Gathering minigame will reward Zelda with a Red Rupee, worth 20 Rupees, if she is successful within each area's time limit. But, if you are exceptionally fast and are able to beat the time by about 20% of its maximum, you will earn a special one-time unique Reward.

East Crossflow Plaza Acorn Minigame Reward: Silver Rupee
Northwest Hyrule Field Acorn Minigame Reward: Steel Trap
North Hyrule Castle Acorn Minigame Reward: Golden Egg
Kakariko Village Acorn Minigame Reward: Heart Piece
West Hyrule Castle Acorn Minigame Reward: 3x Might Stones

There is no reward for completing every Acorn Gathering minigame within the time limit, unfortunately. Out of all of these, the Heart Piece reward in Kakariko Village's Acorn Gathering minigame is the most important to get, followed by the Steep Trap. The Golden Egg, Might Stones, and Silver Rupee are handy, but not necessarily worth going out of your way for.
