A surprised player gets stuck playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D when a glitch forces them to stand in place doing an awkward animation. The bug occurred after fighting the boss of the Water Temple and has the potential to go down as one of the craziest glitches found in a Legend of Zelda game.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is often hailed as one of the greatest games ever made by those who experienced the game in the late 90s. It was one of the first Zelda games to introduce a massive open-world environment and one of the first games to have a fluid combat system featuring a targeting element. Years later, Nintendo released a remake for the Nintendo 3DS called The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, an improved version of the game with better graphics, better controls, and additional content. This remake was supposed to remove all the glitches found in the original game, but as one player learned the hard way, there are still a few more glitches to be discovered.

Reddit user skd25th posted a video of their most recent play-through of the legendary title showcasing a glitch that left them in an awkward, paralyzed animation. While fighting the Water Temple boss Morpha in Ocarina of Time 3D, skd25th defeated the boss at the exact same time as it was attacking them. One of the recurring animations of the fight is when Morpha attaches one of its amoeba-like limbs to Link’s face, with Link shaking uncontrollably. Once Morpha was defeated, all the stars lined up to create this unfortunate and hilarious glitch.

The Water Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is notorious for being one of the most difficult dungeons in the game. It requires players to constantly remove and put on their Iron Boots and regular boots to sink and float in the water, as well as the constant need to raise and lower the water levels using the hard-to-reach switches. The Water Temple also has some of the most difficult puzzles in the game, as well as a fight with Dark Link, one of the hardest mini-bosses in the franchise. This most recent glitch can now be added to the reasons why the Water Temple is a nightmare to get through.

Nintendo did its best to remove all the glitches found in the original Ocarina of Time with the remake, but unfortunately, there are still some glitches causing trouble. However, not all glitches are bad, as some allow the player to beat Ocarina of Time in less than 17 minutes.
