The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features multiple stables scattered throughout Hyrule, offering weary travelers and their horses a safe place to rest. These stables also feature a variety of side quests for the player to discover, including a specific series focusing on improving the stable’s interior decor with the help of Link’s trusty Camera. These quests become available once Link has cleared one of Tears of the Kingdom’s four temples.

Tabantha Stable offers one such quest. The stable’s keeper asks Link to capture a specific landmark that he’d love to have adorning the walls of his stable. Link’s task is simple: head to the designated location, find the object the stable keeper desires for his painting, then snap a photo. Here’s where players will need to head for the quest “A Picture for Tabantha Stable” in Tears of the Kingdom.

This quest starts at Tabantha Bridge Stable, located at coordinates (-2916, 0545, 0169), on the eastern side of the Tabantha Great Bridge that spans the Tanagar Canyon. The closest fast travel location is the Makurukis Shrine, which sits just north of the stable. If this location has not yet been discovered, the player can follow the road west through Hyrule Ridge, or launch from the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower and glide southwest to reach the stable.

Inside the Tabantha Bridge Stable, Link should interact with the empty frame located on the stable’s right wall. Doing so will capture the attention of Dabi, the stable’s keeper, who explains that he wants to hang a stunning painting in the frame for all the stable’s patrons to enjoy. However, painting the picture he desired was proven difficult for him, due to an unfriendly encounter with a monster.

The monster that Dabi refers to is a Flame Gleeok, which is completely avoidable. It is located at coordinates (-3616, 0423, 0260), just past the larger lake atop the mountain. Be sure to save the game after taking the photo, just in case.

Dabi would like to paint a landscape of the nearby "Ancient Columns greeting the sunrise." The Ancient Columns he refers to are ruins located on the opposite side of the canyon, across the Tabantha Great Bridge. He wants the scene to feature the sunrise, it’s important that Link is present at the right time to capture this beautiful moment.

To reach the Ancient Columns, simply cross the Tabantha Great Bridge to the west of the stable. As the player crosses the bridge, they can notice the ruins high atop the mountain on the left side. Once the player reaches the other side of the bridge, they will need to ascend this mountain to reach the Ancient Columns. There’s quite a bit of climbing involved, so Stamina recovery consumables and appropriate armor are recommended.

The photo Dabi requested must include the sunrise, and it’s going to be quite difficult to reach the Ancient Columns in time. Therefore, the player should bring supplies to create a campfire, including wood and anything capable of producing a flame. Once the player has reached the Ancient Columns, craft the campfire and sleep until morning to rise in time to capture the necessary shot.

To capture both the sunrise and the Ancient Columns in the photograph, Link must locate a proper position for taking the photo. There is a suitable location at coordinates (-3488, 0438, 0278), situated at the base of the largest ruins on the map. By facing east from this spot, Link can capture both the Ancient Columns and the sunrise in a single shot.

Once the player has captured the perfect shot, head back to the Tabantha Bridge Stable and interact with the frame inside. Show Dabi the photograph and he will paint a reproduction immediately. He will reward the player with 1 Pony Poin t and a Hasty Elixir.
