One Star Wars-loving The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player managed to leverage Link's Ultrahand ability to build an impressive aircraft inspired by the N-1 Naboo Starfighter from The Mandalorian. Their engineering feat later went viral on social media, surfacing online shortly after another Tears of the Kingdom player recreated the Super Mario Bros. 3 theme song using the game's building mechanics.

The new Zelda game hit the store shelves on May 12, ushering an influx of incredible community creations put together with Tears of the Kingdom's Ultrahand ability. Many of those fan-made designs have so far centered on aircraft, not least because flying contraptions are among the most universally useful types of machinery in Tears of the Kingdom.

The latest such creation was authored by Reddit user JanewayForPresident, who recently went through the effort of creating an aircraft inspired by the N-1 Naboo Starfighter from The Mandalorian series, which is widely considered to be among the most powerful starfighters in the Star Wars universe. Their unique creation makes use of some fairly rare parts, including the metal barrels that can only be found in the Rotsumamu shrine located in the Gerudo Highlands region.

JanewayForPresident also incorporated three pristine Throwing Spears into the design in order to get as close to the look of the original N-1 Naboo Starfighter as possible. And while those weapons can only be found by venturing into Tears of the Kingdom's Depths, the build would work just as well with any other type of spear. The body of the aircraft consists of one Zonai Wing, two Sleds, a Steering Stick, and a Construct Head.

The whole machine uses just over a dozen components in total, meaning that this N-1 Naboo Starfighter-inspired contraption could also be equipped with additional weaponry. For context, Tears of the Kingdom allows players to join up to 21 parts before their constructions start falling apart.

The biggest shortcoming of this newly shared aircraft is that its central piece has a 60-second despawn timer, preventing it from staying airborne for long. Its author acknowledged this limitation, stating that they initially wanted to avoid using a Zonai Wing, but failed to find a similar-looking alternative that would end up resembling the N-1 Naboo Starfighter. On that note, one recently discovered Tears of the Kingdom trick that stops Zonai Wings from disappearing could help extend the use of this aircraft. However, using that technique in practice is far from convenient.
