Similar to its predecessor, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be a massive experience, chock-full of content spread over a massive open world. While Tears of the Kingdom reuses the original Breath of the Wild map, albeit with a number of changes to various locations to showcase the passing of time and current issues impacting Hyrule. Villages like Kakariko and Hateno return in Tears of the Kingdom, but as returning players will see, they're not exactly the same as they may remember.
Exploration is another key piece of Tears of the Kingdom, not only with how to use new abilities like Ultrahand, but in terms of unlocking the map. Shrines are again hidden all over both on the main portion of Hyrule, but in the new sections located in the sky as well. However, Tears of the Kingdom has an extensive number of side adventures and quests to find, though most of them won't be obviously pointed out by the game or on the map.
One such quest is found in Gerudo Town with an NPC named Dalia. It's not readily available as Tears of the Kingdom players will need to do a bit of legwork before it is available, though it is a requirement to complete another side quest called the Mysterious Eighth. Here is everything that players need to know.
How to Start Dalia's Game in Tears of the Kingdom
This side quest can be found in Gerudo Town, once the region has been saved from the Gibdo infestation.
However, before helping Dalia, players will need to make sure they have the following quests completed:
- Gerudo's Regional Phenomena (Main Quest)
- The Heroine's Secret
In addition, players should have The Mysterious Eighth started, which can be started right after The Heroine's Secret with Rotana in the Gerudo Shelter.
With those prerequisites met, the northern corner of the town square during the day, beyond the fruit stand, will be a girl named Dalia standing near clay pots. Alternatively, players may find an orb, and they try to interact with it, Dalia will ask the player if they want to play a game.
How to Complete Dalia's Game in Tears of the Kingdom
The prize for Dalia's game is the orb, a necessary item for those looking to finish The Mysterious Eighth side quest. In order to win it, Dalia challenges players to find her stuffed Sand Seal, though the toy will be hidden in one of the houses in Gerudo Town and players will only have 90 seconds to find it. Making this a little more difficult is the fact that the toy can be located in a few different locations inside the Gerudo Shelter. However, Dalia gives the players a clue based on the phrase she mentions before the hide and seek event begins. Here are the possible locations:
- "This is the way out of the shelter into some caves, and Mama says I'm not allowed there." - Head beyond the classroom into the area known as Valley of the Silent Statues. The Sand Seal is located near the door.
- "He'll never think to look by the bed." - The sleeping area near the jail is the place to look for those getting this phrase. Check the back of the room near the hand-drawn map on the wall.
- "Oops, my feet got all wet! Oh well." - This seal is located in the training area by a small pool of water. Players may have already been here working on The Heroine's Secret side quest to find one of the Stele.
- "Did this stuff belong to the soldiers? Gotta brace myself...and...push!" - The final clue Tears of the Kingdom players could get will also bring them to the training area. On the opposite side of the training dummies, players should check the shelf build into the wall.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now on Nintendo Switch.
