In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players will often need to scale mountains or traverse great chasms. One particularly noteworthy example is Death Mountain, found in the North East of the map spewing gloom smog.

In order to complete the Goron main quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players will need to traverse Death Mountain alongside Yunobo. This is most easily accomplished by taking advantage of Goron minecart tracks that can be found all over the region.

Finding Yunobo

Players will first need to ask around Goron City to find out about the Marbled Rock Roast Problem and learn that Yunobo has been mining the stuff. Afterward, a quick trip to the YunoboCo headquarters will be necessary. A rail track leading to said headquarters can be found on the outskirts of Goron City, so players will just need to attach the nearby fan to a minecart and ride it up.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom_Flamebreaker Armor

Yunobo is down in a nearby cave, but players will need to find a way to deal with the extreme temperature down there first. Luckily, YunoboCo HQ sells the necessary Flamebreaker Armor.

Once the Armor has been acquired, players will need to head down to confront Yunobo, discovering in the process that his fancy new mask is controlling him. One boss fight later, and players have everything they need to scale Death Mountain.

Riding The Rails

Players will want to head back to where they found the rails leading to YunoboCo HQ and look for another track further down the path (Seen on the map in the image above). Riding this track with the minecart will lead players a decent chunk of the way toward the foot of the mountain, and Yunobo's rolling attack can be used to deal with enemies and blockages on the path. After arriving at the base of Death Mountain players will need to carry their cart over to a new track a short distance from where the first ends.

This second track, seen in the image above, will carry Link and Yunobo the rest of the way to the peak. Players will need to use Yunobo's power and some arrows to fend off enemies on the way up, and take out a Bokoblin Blockade/ambush halfway along the track. Once this is done, players can reach the Peak and face off with the first of two bosses necessary to complete the Goron Main Quest.
