The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a direct sequel to Breath of the Wild, so it is not uncommon for players to earn items and tools that were in the previous game. This applies to some of the armor sets as well.
The Radiant armor set returns in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It is not earned in the same way that it was in Breath of the Wild, and so players coming into this game for the first time might find themselves at a loss when searching for it. This guide will show players where the set is located and how to get it.
How To Get Radiant Armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The Radiant armor set comes in three pieces: the Radiant Mask, the Radiant Shirt, and the Radiant Tights. All three pieces can be found at the Enchanted Armor Shop in Kakariko Village. The village is located southeast of Lookout Landing and east of the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower. The coordinates for the specific shop are (1851, -0981, 0119).
Each piece of the Radiant armor set has a base armor stat of 3, and wearing all three will give a set bonus for increased proficiency in bone weapons. Unfortunately, each piece costs 5,000 Rupees for a total of 15,000 Rupees for the entire set. While there are some methods to farm Rupees in the early game, it is a very steep price. Luckily, there is a way to significantly decrease the price for the Radiant armor set.
Radiant Armor At A Discounted Price
The Kakariko Village shopkeeper, Claree, will mention that her grandmother had become sick and the cost of her medicine was very expensive. So, she had to raise the prices of everything in her shop to cover costs.
Players can find Claree's little sister, Lasli, in a little hut near the east entrance of the Kakariko Village. Her coordinates are (1908, -1004, 0127). She will explain that her grandmother got in contact with the Gloom and became very sick. Talking to her will give Link the Gloom-Borne Illness side quest and to gather these ingredients: Hylian Rice, Fresh Milk, and "wild greens," or Sundelions and Hyrule Herb.
When cooked together, this will make a Sunny Veggie Porridge that will heal the grandmother and drop the price of every Radiant armor piece to 600 Rupees each. The discount also applies to the Stealth armor set, which is sold in the same store.
