Players can reach Joku-u Shrine by launching from the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower and navigating the Thunderhead Isles. If a player is able to fast travel to the nearby Joku-usin Shrine, it is highly recommended as their journey will be much easier.

From Joku-usin Shrine, players should ascend out of the room to the top of the island and head toward the coordinates 1377, -3340, 0429.

Dragonhead Island is much lower in altitude, so players have the option of jumping off their island and simply gliding down in the direction of the coordinates. Players choosing to traverse the isles can use the launcher on the island to launch them eastward toward more islands.

Players that have not yet cleared the storm in the Thunderhead Isles should skip to the bottom of the guide for how to get to Joku-u Shrine earlier on in Tears of the Kingdom's story.

Players will notice some rails connecting two of the islands and should use the available Zonai Devices to create a way across. From there, players should continue to follow the floating islands to the east until they can go no further.

Eventually, players will find themselves overtop of Dragonhead Island and can jump down to the shrine. Players will find the shrine at the bottom of the coliseum-like building on the island. Players that leap from the end of the Thunderhead Isles should find themselves gliding directly down into it.

If a player has not completed the main story quest "Secret of the Ring Ruins," they will be plagued with incredibly low visibility while exploring the Thunderhead Isles and Dragonhead Island.

Players that can fast travel to Joku-usin Shrine should do so, following the instructions to ascend to the top of the island and glide down toward the coordinates 1377, -3340, 0429. Even in low visibility, players should be able to reach Dragonhead Island with just their paraglider.

Otherwise, players should use an additional guide to help them reach Joku-usin Shrine earlier than the game intended. It will offer advice for players determined to navigate the Thunderhead Isles with little to no visibility.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
