As players progress the main story in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, they will eventually come across several shrines that serve as a checkpoint for Link's progress. Some offer combat trials, while some have puzzles for Link to solve. For some, that puzzle takes place outside the shrine's walls, rewarding Link with Rauru's Blessing once he steps inside.

The Kahatanaum Shrine is one such shrine. Players will find it in the skies above Hebra while progressing the "Tulin of Rito Village" main quest. Here's how to find it and get its reward.

Players will find the Kahatanaum Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom at the coordinates -3295, 3430, 1347. It is found in the Rising Island Chain in the skies above the Hebra Mountains. While players have the option to fly a vehicle directly to the coordinates above, it's most likely that players will come to the shrine naturally as they follow the related section of the "Regional Phenomena" questline, and complete "Tulin of Rito Village."

In the latter case, players will need to venture to Hebra Peak, where they can climb on a stone platform at the coordinates -2777, 2897, 0738.

From the Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower, players can see the plethora of platforms rising into the sky from the peak.

After being launched from the tower, Link can easily glide to the coordinates to begin his ascent.

The real challenge of the Kahatanaum Shrine is reaching its location high in the sky. If choosing to ascend and climb up the many floating platforms, it's highly recommended that players do so as part of "Tulin of Rito Village," as Tulin's ability comes in handy. Without a flying vehicle for assistance, there are many sections that can only be reached with the help of Tulin's Power of Wind, including the first floating platform near the peak.

After crossing to the first floating platform, players can stack the two blocks found there in order to reach the platform above with Ascend:

Once players ascend to the platform above, they'll want to immediately use Ascend again to climb through the tall stone pillar above them. At the top, players will be at the start of the Rising Island Chain, and can glide and Ascend their way to the shrine.

There are several constructs that will appear along Link's path. Players can choose to fight, flee, or fling them off the platform with a strong blow. Players will also come across many floating boats, or Lift Ships, on which they jump to reach greater heights as they ascend:

Link will pass by the Mayaumekis Shrine on the way to the top that will demonstrate the mechanics of the Lift Ships if needed. Continue rising up the floating platforms until Link finally reaches the Kahatanaum Shrine below a fleet of Lift Ships.
