An extremely skilled Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player managed to annihilate a Silver-Maned Lynel in under a minute. The posted video is one of the most impressive ways to take down a Lynel in Tears of the Kingdom to date.

When The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild hit the shelves in 2017, there was no mini-boss more feared than the Lynel. Lynels are centaur-like beasts that roam Hyrule, capable of one-hit killing Link with ease. In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Lynels are back, and they're just as powerful. Defeating a Lynel is often worth it due to the high-damage weapons the player receives as a reward. However, taking down a Lynel is much easier said than done. There are four different types of Lynels in the game, and the difficulty level of each one depends on the color of its mane. Red and Blue-maned Lynels are the easiest, with White-Maned Lynels being tougher to take down. Silver-Maned Lynels are by far the most difficult to defeat.

Reddit user Galacticalized posted a video of them killing a Silver Lynel in Tears of the Kingdom in possibly the most impressive way possible. The video starts off with the Lynel spotting Link, then rushing toward him. Link quickly fires off a series of frozen arrows, then quickly flurry rushes it. Link then drops a fused explosive on its head, fires another series of explosives and electrified arrows, and flurry rushes him again. Link then does one of the most impressive moves in the clip, firing off five arrows that loop around the beast, with the camera following along as Link continues to attack the Lynel while on its back. Link then jumps in the air and fires off five more Timed Bombs toward its direction. The clip ends with the Lynel slowly dying and the bombs exploding in an impressive finale.

There’s so much happening in the clip that it’s not easy to follow along. First of all, Link is wearing the Lightning Helm, which allows him to survive all the lighting attacks he’s throwing around. Link is also using a Savage Lynel Bow that lets him fire five arrows at a time. The random explosive device Link uses with his Autobuild ability at the start of the clip is actually six normal explosive barrels that have been fused together. As for the arrows that loop around the Lynel toward the end of the clip, those arrows are fused with Electric Keese Eyeballs, giving them a homing quality. The player simply missed on purpose so that the arrows would circle around.

In the DLC for Breath of the Wild, a new mode called Master Mode was added that featured an even tougher version of the Lynel, the Gold-Maned Lynel. Although there are no official plans to add a Master Mode to Tears of the Kingdom yet, it would be exciting to see Galacticalized pull this trick on a Gold Lynel if Nintendo decides to add this mode to the game.
