What Is a Fire Fruit and How To Use It
Fire Fruits are an amazing resource introduced in Tears of the Kingdom that can be used mainly in 3 ways. The first way to use them is as an ingredient to cook meals that grant cold resistance for a certain period of time. This is very useful, especially in early game when the player doesn’t have access to cold-resistant clothes.
The second incredible use of a Fire Fruit is its ability to turn a regular arrow into a fire arrow after being attached.
Thirdly, the players can just fuse it with their weapons, which will increase the attack power slightly and trigger a fire effect for an attack. A less useful way to use them is to simply eat the Fire Fruit without cooking, which will restore half a heart for Link.
Fire Arrows are what the player will mostly use this fruit for, as turning arrows into Fire Arrows is quite a useful ability. It allows the player to set fire to objects from a distance and deal more damage to enemies.
Where to Find Fire Fruits In Tears Of The Kingdom?
One of the locations where the player will find Fire Fruits in abundance, as well as early on in the game, is the Is-Isa Shrine on Great Sky Island. Inside this shrine, the player will find a few Fire Fruit plants that replenish whenever they exit and re-enter the shrine. This means there is an infinite amount of Fire Fruits to collect if the player has the patience. There are also other shrines that will have Fire Fruits inside, such as the Yamiyo Shrine.
Fire Fruits can be found all across Hyrule in general, more so in cold areas. The best way to always have places to get this fruit from is to mark all places that have them on the map. However, the player will have to wait for every Blood Moon for the plant to replenish with the fruit. Another place in Hyrule where players will find this fruit is the area around Moblin Bases.
