Those that head to the far north of Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom may stumble upon an area called the Typhlo Ruins. In the previous game, Breath of the Wild, the Typhlo Ruins were encased in a dark fog that made it impossible to see without lighting a torch. This time, the air has been cleared, and players that stop by the ruins will find a Side Adventure waiting for them.
"Investigate the Typhlo Ruins" is a Tears of the Kingdom Side Adventure made up of four different parts. While they can be completed in any order, "The Owl Protected by Dragons," is the closest to the Typhlo Ruins Skyview Tower. In order to complete the quest, players will need to have the Vow of Tulin.
Where is Typhlo Ruins?
The Typhlo Ruins and the Typhlo Ruins Skyview Tower is at 0343, 3133, 0180, which is north of the Great Hyrule Forest. The best way to get to the ruins is by going by going west from Eldin Mountains or east from the Tabantha Tundra (near Snowfield Stable). Players are strongly advised to activate the Typhlo Ruins Skyview Tower before they start this side adventure, as doing so will make the map visible.
"The Owl Protected by Dragons" Walkthrough
Near the Typhlo Ruins is a campsite and a Zonai Researcher named Kazul. Speak to him and offer to help, and he'll drag over some translated stone slabs. This unlocks the Side Adventure "Investigate the Typhlo Ruins." Each slab has a riddle, and the one on the far left is for "The Owl Protected by Dragons."
The slab reads:
"Display the power of the Sage of Wind to the owl protected by many dragons."
If players haven't caught on yet, they need the Vow of Tulin/Tulin's Avatar for this side adventure. This is obtained by completing the main quest "Tulin of Rito Village." "The Owl Protected by Statues" will be impossible to complete without Vow of Tulin, so it's advised to complete the main quest before starting this Side Adventure.
The "owl protected by dragons" isn't a real owl, as some may have realized. It, and the "dragons," are the giant statues in the Typhlo Ruins. Luckily, the owl statue is just south of the stone slabs/Zonai researcher.
- Head to coordinates 0364, 3070, 0178, which is over the wall behind the stone slabs.
- Stand on the dragon head facing the owl statue.
- With Tulin nearby, activate Tulin's Gust with A-button. Have Link turn in the direction of the owl statue and then press A-button again to use the Gust Ability.
If done properly, then the square platform at the base of the owl statue will rise up and reveal a hidden chest. Loot the treasure chest to get x3 
Sapphires. With that, "The Owl Protected by Dragons" will be marked Complete, and Link can continue with the other three quests in the Side Adventure.
