Razorshrooms play a vital role in cooking powerful attack power-increasing food in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The more Razorshrooms the player uses in a recipe, the stronger the buff becomes, so it is extremely beneficial to regularly farm these ingredients to ensure the player stays stocked up on high power versions of these meals.
Razorshrooms are not found in many locations, and players will often need to actively hunt for them. Additionally, their dark brown color blends in with the rocky environments where they often grow, making them challenging to spot. Thankfully, there are a handful of locations where players can regularly collect 5-6 Razorshrooms whenever they respawn. Here are the best locations to gather Razorshrooms for crafting attack power food in Tears of the Kingdom.
Tanagar Canyon (Tabantha Frontier)
The best location for farming Razorshrooms is inside the Tanagar Canyon that runs through the Tabantha Frontier and Hyrule Ridge regions. There are numerous ways to reach this area, but the best way to get closest to the area with the highest concentration of Razorshrooms is to fast travel to Oromuwak Shrine and follow the road that forks to the northeast.
When the player reaches coordinates (-2470, 1763, 0258), near a geoglyph on the nearby mountain wall, they should head down into the canyon. Razorshrooms can be found growing at the foot of the cliff walls at the bottom of Tanagar Canyon. The player can also fast travel to the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower or Runakit Shrine, then glide north from these locations into the canyon.
Link can also find a decent concentration of Razorshrooms near the southern end of the Tanagar Canyon, just south of the Tabantha Great Bridge and its stable near Hyrule Ridge. This area can be easily reached by fast traveling to the Makurukis Shrine if available.
Prior to descending into the cavern, head south toward the mountains just south of the Tabantha Bridge Stable to around Coordinates (-2915, 0455, 0181). Here, players can find a few Razorshrooms and some Spicy Pepper plants at the foot of the mountain. After collecting these, head west into the Canyon.
The Razorshrooms in this part of the canyon are mostly concentrated at the foot of a large wooden tower located at Coordinates (-3086, 0411, -0100). Additional Razorshrooms can be found along the nearby cliff walls.
Minshi Woods
The second-best location to farm Razorshrooms in TotK is along the road through the Minishi Woods. This forest is located southeast of the Great Hyrule Forest and can be easily reached by gliding northwest from the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower. Alternatively, Link can fast travel to the Ekochiu Shrine, and will arrive near the road leading through the woods.
Here, follow the road north through the Minishi Woods and toward the Great Hyrule Forest. Players can collect a handful of Razorshrooms next to trees, though generally no more than 5-6 Razorshrooms will be available at a time.
Great Deku Tree Spore Store (Korok Woods)
Once players have advanced in Tears of the Kingdom's story and cleansed the chasm inside the Great Deku Tree, they will gain access to the Great Deku Tree Spore Store, located inside the Deku Tree. This store offers a convenient option for purchasing Razorshrooms. Here, players can purchase 4 Razorshrooms at a cost of 20 rupees each.
It's worth noting that the store takes some time to restock its inventory. Nevertheless, for players who have the rupees to spare, the store is a reliable method to ensure a steady supply of Razorshrooms for cooking up that sweet attack power food.
