The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gives players the opportunity to hunt down four unique helms, each based on one of the Divine Beasts from its predecessor, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. These helms are not only stylish in their own way but also grant unique defensive abilities when worn. Versions of these helms were available in Breath of the Wild but could be obtained only via scanning each amiibo of the Four Champions.

While the Divine Beasts Helms can still be obtained using these very same amiibo in Tears of the Kingdom, players also now have the opportunity to seek these powerful items hidden in secretive locations throughout Hyrule. Their defensive benefits will come in handy as Link traverses areas of Hyrule that have been ravaged by the effects of the Regional Phenomena.

These helms also amplify the benefits of the Sage abilities Link will gain access to through his efforts to help the affected residents of Hyrule. Therefore, players may want to prioritize locating these powerful items early in their adventure. Here is where players can obtain each of the four Divine Beasts Helms in Tears of the Kingdom.

To obtain the Vah Medoh Divine Helm, which grants beneficial Cold Resistance when equipped, players should head to North Biron Snowshelf Cave located at coordinates (-3962, 3274, 0240) in the northeastern corner of Hyrule. The Biron Snowshelf is located just north of the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower, making the tower an excellent fast travel destination.

To solve the puzzle within the cave and obtain the Vah Medoh Divine Helm, the player will have to utilize fire to melt ice and be able to destroy rocks at range. Therefore, it is advisable that players also bring any necessary materials to create fire, arrows, and Bomb Flowers. It is highly recommended to bring and utilize a Zonai Flame Emitter to easily melt through the large block of ice blocking the entrance to the cave. Additionally, there are a handful of Bomb Flowers found inside the cave, but only enough necessary for solving the puzzle.

At this location, the player will encounter a Shock Like and a small hole in the ground at the center beneath a large ribcage, which is the entrance to the underground ruins. The player may consider bringing along Bomb Flowers to destroy the breakable rocks not only at the entrance but throughout the cave, though a suitably fused weapon will make quick work of those as well. The player will find multiple two-handed weapons and rocks inside that will do just fine.

The Vah Rudania Divine Helm provides the Flame Guard buff, protecting Link from intense heat and fire damage (but not from desert heat). It’s only suitable that this helm is found within the region surrounding Death Mountain—specifically in Death Caldera between two small lakes that are shaped like lizards. The fastest way to reach this area is to fast travel to the Sibajitak Shrine.

The Vah Ruta Divine Helm is a little tricky to obtain, but players who get their hands on this helpful helm will be rewarded with a beneficial Swim Speed Up bonus that stacks with other swim speed increasing items. Unsurprisingly, the Cave Under Zora’s Domain, where the helm is found, is near Zora’s Domain. The easiest way to reach the Cave Under Zora’s Domain is to fast travel to the Mogawak Shrine, which is located inside Zora's Domain.

If the player has not yet unlocked this shrine, they should fast travel to the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower and glide down to the shrine's location, which is easy to spot from above. Once at the Mogawak Shrine, climb the ladder up to the bridge and head forward to just past the first large waterfall below. Jump off the bridge and use the paraglider to glide backward, through the waterfall to land inside the cave's entrance at coordinates (3244, 0376, 0078).
