Entering Kamatukis Shrine, players will see a large block, ball, and lever mechanism as well as a Zonai Switch that can be used to reset the puzzle at any time. This will come in handy as this shrine is a little tricky to master and requires some trial and error. It's time to play some golf.

Using Ultrahand, attach the block to the lever mechanism. Then, again using Ultrahand, pull the block back and release it so that when it hits the ball, it knocks it across the gap into the hole. The above image displays the angle and trajectory of a successful attempt, but here are some tips for players struggling to get the ball into the hole:

  • Don't pull it back all the way. About four-fifths of the way will do the trick, but anything too powerful will blast the ball too far, and it will fall behind the platform the hole is on.
  • Attach the block to the center of the lever as accurately as possible. This just makes the ball's trajectory easier to predict.
  • Attach the block so that a flat side hits the ball, rather than the edge. Hitting the ball with a flat side ensures a more predictable trajectory and aims it straight ahead.

After a couple of tries (resetting by hitting the orange-yellow Zonai Switch), the ball should land successfully in the hole and go green, opening the gate for Link to receive the Light of Blessing. Stick around to get the Treasure Chest in this shrine, or head on through to complete the trial.

Head left when first walking into the shrine to find a second, optional puzzle similar to the first. This time the target is moving, but it's a shorter gap to get the ball over. Follow the same steps as before, taking into account the moving target, and a door revealing a chest will open. Open the chest to find a Mighty Zonaite Longsword, which greatly increases the attack power of Zonai devices fused with it.
