As players take on the main story quest, "Regional Phenomena" in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, they visit parts of Hyrule with extreme climates. Goron City is south of Death Mountain, with temperatures so hot in certain areas wooden weapons catch fire in the air. Still, a thriving civilization of Gorons will often recruit Links to help with side quests and adventures.
These more minor quests are an excellent way to collect rare resources, Rupees, and sometimes weapons. "Moon-Gazing Gorons" is one of the more laid-back quests that Tears of the Kingdom players will encounter that only requires some travel and sightseeing for a cash reward.
Moon-Gazing Gorons Walkthrough
"Moon-Gazing Gorons" is a side quest in Goron City that becomes available after players finish the "Yunobo of Goron City's" main quest. To start it, find the two elder Gorons in front of the town inn named Volcon and Tray.
They are reminiscing about an old vacation spot they visited as children but can't remember where it is. They can only remember that a full moon would shine in the middle of the day and that it was at Lake Ferona. Volcon thinks that if he sees a picture, he can find it.
Link can use the Purah Pad to photograph the full moon. The camera is accessed the same way that players use their abilities and is unlocked after finishing the "Camera Work in the Depths" main story quest.
To find Tray and Volcon's vacation spot, go to the west side of Lake Ferona (1930, 1282, 0129). Traveling to the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower is the quickest way to get there. If players approach from the west, they will see a large rock in the lake and two cave entrances in the mountain walls. They must go to the cave entrance at the bottom to find the right spot.
Once inside the cave, walk to the edge of the ledge. It must be midday for the full moon to appear, so players can use a fire to pass the time until noon if needed. To start a fire, use a bundle of wood and 
Flint or a 
Fire Fruit to ignite it.
Whenever it is the right time of the day, players will see what looks like a full moon if they stand on the ledge and look downward. Then, all that's left is to snap a quick picture.
To complete "Moon-Gazing Gorons," players can return to Goron City and show Tray and Volcon the picture they took. This refreshes their memory, and as thanks, they give Link a Silver Rupee, which is worth 100 Rupees.
