In the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the quest "Who Finds the Haven" is the final part of a series of quests involving two sisters, Nat and Meghyn, who are extremely passionate about mushroom hunting. To start the quest “Who Finds the Haven,” players must first complete "Cave Mushrooms That Glow" and its follow-up quest "The Captured Tent."
Once both of these quests are completed, Link will automatically receive the quest "Who Finds the Haven." Unlike the previous quests, there is no need to travel to a stable to meet up with the sisters before starting this quest. Instead, the player will rely on the hints provided by the sisters during their last encounter to locate the quest location. Here's where to find the sisters' mushroom haven to complete "Who Finds the Haven" in Tears of the Kingdom.
Who Finds the Haven Quest Walkthrough
To complete the quest “Who Finds the Haven” in Tears of the Kingdom, the player should head to the Sturnida Basin, located in the western Hebra Mountains. The fastest method of reaching this location is either to fast travel to the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower or the nearby Tauyosipun Shrine. From the skyview tower, glide northwest to reach the small hot springs just west of the tip of Lake Kilsie. Tauyosipun Shrine is located directly west of the hot springs, at coordinates 4539, 2881, 0262, making for a short glide.
Here, the player will discover the Sturnida Secret Hot Sprin g, which is located at coordinates -4092, 2764, 0025. To locate the cave, the player needs to follow the narrow stream branching off from the hot spring, heading south. They should keep following the stream until they see a torch, which indicates the location of the cave entrance. The entrance to this path starts at coordinates -4061, 2705, 0023.
Upon entering the cave, Link will discover the Sturnida Spring Cave. Inside, he will encounter Meghyn and Nat, who are excited about getting closer to discovering the "mushroom haven" they seek. They will disappear deeper into the cave without even acknowledging Link's presence.
Link should head behind the large rock positioned in the center of the room where the sisters were standing. There, he will find Meghyn, annoyed that Nat has run ahead without her.
Link should follow the path forward in the cave until he reaches a large orange breakable wall. He will find Nat standing nearby, surprised to see Link hunting for the mushroom haven but confident that she will find it first. The quest’s objective is beyond the rock wall, but Link can continue down the short path where he will come across some vines that can be destroyed with a sharp weapon or fire. Beyond the vines is a small area with two mineral veins.
Heading back, Link should break the orange rock wall, which opens up a new path leading to another large room with two more orange rock walls. Upon dropping into this room, Link will notice a large boulder immediately behind him.
He needs to turn around, crouch to the right of the boulder, and he will discover a narrow passageway. The player should crouch by pressing down on the left analog stick and have Link follow the long path until he reaches a large glowing room. Link has discovered the mushroom haven the sisters were searching for.
The sisters will show up immediately, dismayed that they didn't discover the cavern first but still thrilled to have experienced it. They will leave all the mushrooms for Link to gather, completing the quest “Who Finds the Haven.” This is a great place to take some photos of mushrooms for the Hyrule Compendium, so be sure to snap pics of each species before collecting them.
Before exiting the cave entirely, Link should go back through the tunnel into the larger room with breakable rock walls. He can use the giant boulder he passed to make a weapon and break through the walls. Behind either of the breakable rock walls is a small chamber where Link can find and defeat the cave's Bubbulfrog.
