The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has almost 200 side quests for players to take on. Some are more involved than others, but completing them will usually reward players with a useful item, like a meal or maybe even some Rupees. One of the first quests that TotK players might run into is called The Incomplete Stable, and it can be found at Lookout Landing, where players first end up after completing the tutorial shrines on the Great Sky Island.
An NPC named Karson has been trying to build a stable at Lookout Landing, but there seems to be an issue with finishing the roof that protects the horses from natural elements like rain and lightning. Lester will not be able to board horses at the mini-stable until the roof is fixed up, so it's up to Link to place the final roof plank in the correct position.
The Incomplete Stable in TotK
The Incomplete Stable side quest can be started by speaking with the NPCs near the southern entrance of Lookout Landing at the coordinates -0253, 0058, 0019. Lester and Karson will both be looking at the incomplete stable.
Look behind the horses to see a pile of hay and a piece of wood lying on the ground. Hold the L button on the Nintendo Switch controller and then use the right control stick to activate Link's Ultrahand ability. Then, press A to pick up the piece of wood. Align it with the gap on the stable's roof and place it down to fix it. A cutscene will play out, and players will have completed the side quest.

What's a Mini Stable?
Players won't be able to access the full services that a regular, full-sized stable offers in Tears of the Kingdom, but the mini one can still be used to register, board, and bring out horses. Players cannot exchange Pony Points for rewards, but they can get a point by speaking to Lester.
Once The Incomplete Stable quest is completed, players can speak to Lester again to start another side quest. We have a dedicated guide here for the Spotting Spot quest right here, but players will need to find a specific horse to the south of Lookout Landing and bring it back to Lester. The reward for the quest is as follows: 50 Rupees,
Swift Carrot, and Spot itself.
