HoYoverse confirms the upcoming Zenless Zone Zero special livestream to detail all the new content and changes coming within the rapidly approaching Version 1.7 update. It's been a busy week for the development studio as Zenless Zone Zero has a lot of new and exciting updates coming to the game in the next few weeks and months.
One of the surprising announcements was the confirmation that Zenless Zone Zero is finally coming to the Xbox platform. HoYoverse teased an announcement through what many assumed was an April Fools' joke, posting an image of an Xbox-specific Bangboo character, though days later, the studio revealed a new livestream to announce the upcoming platform version. Eagle-eyed viewers also noticed that the announcement seemingly teased more exciting new updates, which many assumed was related to Version 1.7.
Zenless Zone Zero Leak Teases New Anniversary Skins
Recent leaks from Zenless Zone Zero are hinting at several new skins set to arrive to the game as part of its first anniversary in July.
Whether intentional or not, the Version 1.7 livestream has finally been confirmed and will be broadcast on the same day of April 11, at 7:30am Eastern Time. This event also takes place a few hours before the Xbox stream, so fans will certainly have a lot to check out. Likely following previous livestreams, fans will get another code for some free in-game resources like Polychromes, while also seeing upcoming Zenless Zone Zero characters Hugo and Vivan in action.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7 Livestream Start Date and Time

While the new characters will likely be a major portion of the livestream, fans will also get a glimpse of the new 1.7 story, upcoming events, potential re-run characters, and W-Engines. It's also expected that a new Zenless Zone Zero Bangboos will finally arrive, likely Mockingbird's Robin as well as one called Overtimeboo. Robin was first seen in Astra's Version 1.5 narrative, while Overtimeboo is rumored to be a free reward for finishing one of the events within the update.
Besides these two livestreams, HoYoverse also surprised a lot of fans with a new Dev Talk video that revealed a ton of new information about Zenless Zone Zero's upcoming Season 2.0 refresh. While a date wasn't given for when this major update will arrive, many have theorized it'll likely drop around the game's first anniversary, and promises to bring a ton of major quality of life updates, new charatcers like the Angels of Delusion, as well as locations. Fans will be able to see more of Season 2 with a new trailer on April 13.

But don't forget, there's also spatial disorder, monsters and mutants running rampant, and ultimately, a disaster that could swallow the world. They are not a place where ordinary people should go.
So don't go into Hollows.
Or at least, don't go in alone.
If you insist on getting into danger, go to New Eridu first.
This city where the good and the bad mix has many people who need the Hollows: Powerful wealthy tycoons, gangs that stalk the streets, conspiracy nuts, and ruthless officials.
