For most players, the biggest part of these new version updates are the agent banners, new characters that players can try and unlock. For the first half of the update, known as Phase 1, Zenless Zone Zero players can try and pull for Vivian, an Ether Anomaly S-Rank agent that uses an umbrella to attack her enemies. Her unique mechanic allows her to switch between ground and aerial attacks using "Flight Feathers" and she can even trigger attacks when she's off the field, similar to Solider-0 Anby's Aftershock attacks.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7 Banner Agents and Bangboo

Phase 1

  • Vivian (S-Rank Ether Anomaly Agent)
  • Jane (S-Rank Physical Anomaly Agent)

Phase 2

  • Hugo (S-Rank Ice Attack Agent)
  • Lighter (S-Rank Fire Stun Agent)

Bangboo

  • Robin (S-Rank)
  • Overtimeboo (A-Rank)

In the second half of the update, Hugo becomes the featured Zenless Zone Zero S-Rank agent. As an Ice Attacker, Hugo uses a scythe-style weapon at close range and also from distance after throwing it towards his enemy. Hugo's unique playstyle is around an effect called Totalize, which increases his damage based on the enemies’ remaining stun duration. Hugo also benefits from other stun agents on the team, which further increases his chain-attack damage output.

As the current version 1.6 starts to wind down, attention has already begun to turn towards the future of Zenless Zone Zero. For many fans, that represents the upcoming Version 1.7 centered around the Mockingbird faction, which made it more surprising when HoYoverse released a ton of new details on Season 2 for Zenless Zone Zero. While promising a new trailer in the coming days, players clearly have a lot to look forward to as HoYoverse not only adds new content, but teases substantial changes to the core experience.

Don't go into the Hollows.
I know, I know, there's Ether in the Hollows, bizarre creations, even heritage of the old civilization, all precious treasures. But don't forget, there's also spatial disorder, monsters and mutants running rampant, and ultimately, a disaster that could swallow the world. They are not a place where ordinary people should go.
So don't go into Hollows.
Or at least, don't go in alone.
If you insist on getting into danger, go to New Eridu first.
This city where the good and the bad mix has many people who need the Hollows: Powerful wealthy tycoons, gangs that stalk the streets, conspiracy nuts, and ruthless officials.
Make your preparations there, find strong allies, and most importantly—
Find a "Proxy".
Only they can guide people out of the maze-like Hollows.
Good luck!
