Zenless Zone Zero has officially revealed the stacked array of in-game rewards players can expect to receive as part of the urban action RPG's first anniversary celebration. The newest game from the Genshin Impact developer has been a smash hit since its launch in July of last year, following in the footsteps of its predecessors. Zenless Zone Zero racked up 50 million players within just two days of the game's highly-anticipated launch, and has continued to make major updates in each of its subsequent patches. Now, Zenless Zone Zero is getting ready to celebrate in style.

The Version 2.0 update to Zenless Zone Zero, launching early next month, will ring in not only the game's newest "season" but the beginning of its anniversary festivities. Version 2.0 will introduce the Waifei Peninsula as the newest explorable district, adding multiple new playable characters and kicking off Zenless Zone Zero's Season 2. The update's runtime will also coincide with the first anniversary of the game's launch on July 4, with lots planned for both new and longtime players. HoYoverse is now showing off all the free goodies players can expect.

A new post shared to Zenless Zone Zero's social media accounts details the rewards players will receive during the Version 2.0 update. Among the most notable rewards come with the free units made available by Zenless Zone Zero, with players able to choose both a free S-Rank character and W-Engine from the game's standard rotation. The patch will grant plenty of gacha currency, with 1,600 Polychromes joined by 20 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons. The anniversary will also include some exclusive rewards, like new skins for Belle and Wise, the A-Rank "Reel Projector" W-Engine, and a unique title and icon.

The Version 2.0 update's lineup of exciting content just keeps growing with more being revealed by HoYoverse. Zenless Zone Zero recently showcased multiple buffs coming to Version 1.0 S-Rank character Ellen, adding more ways for the Shark Thiren to dish out big Ice damage in battle. The Version 2.0 update will also welcome Zenless Zone Zero to a new platform, with the game officially launching on Xbox Series X/S alongside Version 2.0. Zenless Zone Zero's Version 2.0 is scheduled to release on June 6.
