Sage in a Barrel is a unique NPC in Zenless Zone Zero that can be interacted with by kicking the trash can. Similar to other Sage in a Barrel in the game, this one in Port Elpis also wants a special coin called HIA Commemorative Coins Harbor.

Proxies can collect and exchange the HIA Coins to the Sage in a Barrel for various in-game rewards like Dennies, Senior Investigator Log, and more. The coins can be obtained by talking to certain NPCs and investigating some items at the right time.

Once the Proxies collect one coin and is after the next one, if the coin doesn't show up in the location, teleport out and return to Port Elpis to reset the map.

Port Elpis HIA Commemorative Coins Harbor (Morning)

There are 3 coins to be obtained in the morning at Port Elpis, and Proxies can collect them through the following interaction:

  1. Teleport to Port Elpis' Officer Mewmew in Zenless Zone Zero and go to Port 4 for an NPC called Mitsuharu. Talk to him until the end and he will give you the first HIA Commemorative Coin: Harbor.
  2. For the next one, head to the lighthouse above, and an old man NPC named McDunn is standing in front of the building. Once players interact with him, go to the Sea God Statue behind Officer Mewmew in Port Elpis to grant his request. Return to McDunn to get the second HIA Coin.
  3. The third coin is from Grandpa Gu who is fishing at the dock. Interact with Grandpa Gu and he will ask Proxies to give the coin to Feng, located on the opposite side of him. Do as he said to get the third Commemorative Coin in Zenless Zone Zero.

Port Elpis HIA Commemorative Coins Harbor (Afternoon)

Change the in-game time to afternoon before following the guide below to get another 3 HIA Commemorative Coin Harbor:

  1. Teleport to Sage in a Barrel in Port Elpis and look to the right side for the small stall. Talk to Lanza who is sitting alone and he will give players a HIA Coin.
  2. Next, go to Port Promenade teleportation icon and turn around for a sailor named Dennis at the back. Listen to him ranting about mermaids until the end and he will give Proxies the fifth Port Elpis coin.
  3. After that, go to the Fried Fries stall and players can find Teppei standing in front of the stall. Accompany him to talk to Phee and the coins will be given for free.

Port Elpis HIA Commemorative Coins Harbor (Evening)

The evening in Port Elpis will only give 2 HIA Commemorative Coins to players, and here is how to get them:

  1. Teleport to Officer Mewmew and walk straight ahead to Muqing who was standing in front of the statue. Ask her about the coin and she will mention how she wants to think about it first before walking away. Then, Proxies can switch the in-game time to the next evening and interact with Muqing again to get the coin.
  2. Go to the entrance of Port Promenade and talk to Nachi who is squatting in front of a cat. After that, interact with the cat in front of the warehouse and players will get the eighth HIA Coin.

Port Elpis HIA Commemorative Coins Harbor (Midnight)

The final two Port Elpis Coins in Zenless Zone Zero can be found at midnight in the following locations:

  1. Go to the dock towards the interactable Lifebuoy. A small Bangboo called Gully will appear and give the player the next coin.
  2. The last HIA Commemorative Coin Harbor can be obtained from the Mysterious Guy near the lighthouse. After Proxies talk to him for the first time, he will mention the coin but will not give it to anyone. Then, change the in-game time to the next midnight and visit him once again to get the coin.

Now that players obtain 10 HIA Commemorative Coins Harbor, go to the Sage in a Barrel to exchange the coins for various rewards in Zenless Zone Zero.
