Zenless Zone Zero: How to Get & Change Dynamic Wallpapers

When accessing the main menu in Zenless Zone Zero, you will notice that the background will either be Belle or Wise, depending on which of the two siblings you choose to play. Although these two options are great to look at, fans of some of the other characters in the game will be happy to know they can change the wallpaper to their favorite.

If you want to change the Dynamic Wallpaper on the main menu, you will need to complete a few requirements to unlock some new backgrounds. Here's how you can get some, and how you can change the background to your desired character.

How to Get Dynamic Wallpapers in Zenless Zone Zero

As you will notice when you open up the main menu in Zenless Zone Zero, you will either have a Dynamic Wallpaper of Belle, or Wise. You can swap your wallpaper between these two characters at the beginning of the game, even when you choose one over the other. To get other Dynamic Wallpapers, here is what you will need to do:

Start by unlocking the Trust System for your characters.
To unlock the Trust System, you will need to complete the commission, 'Anby's Problem', after completing Chapter 2 - Interlude. This gives you a deeper look into the character Anby.
With the Trust System unlocked, you will need to increase your chosen character to at least Trust Level 4 to get their Dynamic Wallpaper.
To increase a character's trust, you must participate in their Trust Events, which are only available to characters that you own.

As of right now, it doesn't seem that every character has an available Dynamic Wallpaper. If you want to get a new background, here are the characters you can build up trust with and unlock a Dynamic Wallpaper for:

Anby
Nicole
Billy
Nekomata
Ben
Anton
Lycaon
Koleda
Soldier 11
Grace
Ellen
Corin

How to Change Dynamic Wallpaper in Zenless Zone Zero

Once you've built up some trust with your chosen character, and have at least reached Level 4 with them, you might be wondering how exactly you can change the Dynamic Wallpaper in the main menu. Doing this is actually quite simple.

Start by opening your main menu, where you'll find everything, such as Achievements, the Compendium, the Inter-Knot where you can pick up commissions, and more.
From here, on the Dynamic Wallpaper screen, you'll notice a tiny icon with a character symbol, and two arrows going around it. Click on this.
From this menu, you'll notice some character options at the bottom that you can choose from. Click on the character you want to change to, and then select 'Switch' on the right to change the wallpaper.
If the character has a lock symbol above it, this means you haven't met the requirement of Trust Level 4 to get their Dynamic Wallpaper yet.
