A recent Zenless Zone Zero leak is hinting at a major change to the in-game map as part of the Version 2.0 update, featuring a fully re-designed fast travel screen. HoYoverse is set to bring plenty of major changes to the urban action RPG as part of the game's "Season 2" update, with lots of content already teased. Version 2.0 will introduce three new playable characters in Yixuan, Pan Yinhu, and Ju Fufu, with Yixuan rumored to be bringing an entirely new Attribute and Specialty. However, the new map expansion may be the biggest part of the update.
The beginning of Zenless Zone Zero's next major story arc will bring with it an entirely new district for players to explore. The Waifei Peninsula is set to be introduced as a new locale heavily steeped in Chinese-styled aesthetics, including the city of Failume Heights and the Suibian Temple. The new areas are also said to be much larger than past Zenless Zone Zero locations, with a more free-roam environment than many of the pre-existing spots around New Eridu. Now, the game's fast travel map is set to receive a major overhaul as well.

Zenless Zone Zero Leak Reveals In-Game Map Update
A new update shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker Mero is giving players a first look at Zenless Zone Zero's re-designed map system. The image showcases a major change to the visual style of Zenless Zone Zero's map, replacing the scrolling list of locations with a topographical map of New Eridu. The map features several locations already shown in Zenless Zone Zero, giving an idea of the proximity between pre-existing locations like Sixth Street, Scott Outpost, and Lumina Square among others. The map update and Version 2.0 are set to launch on June 4.
The new changes to Zenless Zone Zero's map come as HoYoverse has teased plenty for players to do in Zenless Zone Zero's new locations. The previously-mentioned Suibian Temple will reportedly see a new management-style mini-game added to Zenless Zone Zero, likely building on the foundation established by the "Random Play" video store. Other new locations like Aerospace City and the Lemnian Hollow are also expected to be added to the game as part of the Version 2.0 update.
Zenless Zone Zero's recent Version 1.7 update looks to be sending the game's first "season" off with a bang, with a plethora of new content. The update saw two new characters added to the game, with Vivian debuting during the update's first half and Hugo coming with the second half. Version 1.7 also saw the return of the popular "Grand Marcel Adventure" Fall Guys-inspired mini-game as part of Version 1.7's flagship "Bangboo Bash" event. Zenless Zone Zero fans should have lots to be excited for with one of the game's biggest updates yet on the way soon.
