A new leak from Zenless Zone Zero is showing off several new areas set to be added to the game during the upcoming Version 1.6 update. Since the launch of the HoYoverse urban action RPG in July 2024, the game has added a plethora of new locations and areas for players to explore, both within the Hollow and the overworld. Version 1.5 saw the introduction of Starloop Arena as the RPG's newest explorable area, while previous updates have brought locations like Port Elpis and Blazeloop. Now, the game's next update is set to add even more to the game.

Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.6 already has a plethora of content on the way throughout the game's next update, with new characters and more on the way. Silver Soldier Anby and Trigger are both set to join Zenless Zone Zero's roster as playable S-Rank characters, with Pulchra also coming as an A-Rank unit. Leaks have also hinted at several bosses potentially coming to the game, showing both a new Thanatos boss and new character Hugo Vlad as a boss. A new leak is now showing multiple new areas coming during the Version 1.6 update.

Zenless Zone Zero Leak Shows New Version 1.6 Areas

A new leak shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker Palito is showing off four new areas in Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.6. The images show off four unique locations coming during the update, with an "office," a "lab," "FortuneSquare Mall," and an "Auction" area. The leak does not confirm how any of the individual areas will be implemented, though the lab is rumored to be connected to new character Hugo. The new areas are currently expected to be added with Version 1.6, scheduled to launch on March 13.

The addition of Zenless Zone Zero's new areas are expected to heavily play into the story of rumored new character Hugo Vlad. Hugo first appeared within Zenless Zone Zero during the Agent Story for Version 1.0 S-Rank character Lycaon, also featured during Version 1.5's flagship event as an opponent in the "Ridu's Got Boo" competition. Hugo is also heavily rumored to become a playable character at some point in the future, though his potential release window has yet to be revealed.

As Zenless Zone Zero moves towards the conclusion of its Version 1.5 update, fans shouldn't have to wait much longer for all the details on Version 1.6. Zenless Zone Zero will likely announce the "Special Program" livestream for Version 1.6 within the coming days, with just two weeks remaining until the update's release. Leaks have also begun to hint at the future of the game, with Zenless Zone Zero's Version 2.0 rumored to be coming following Version 1.7. Zenless Zone Zero fans will look to have several new places to explore with the launch of its next update.
