A new leak from Zenless Zone Zero is detailing how many Polychromes players will be able to acquire throughout the game's highly-anticipated Version 2.0 update. The massively popular urban action RPG from HoYoverse is gearing up for the biggest update the game has seen yet, with a plethora of new content on the way. Version 2.0 will welcome players to the newest sector of New Eridu, whisking the Proxies to the China-themed Waifei Peninsula with several new characters joining the playable roster. Now, players are looking to have a wealth of Polychromes available in the next update.

Zenless Zone Zero officially gave fans their first introduction to the Version 2.0 update yesterday, airing the highly-anticipated Special Program livestream for Version 2.0. Version 2.0 will introduce three brand-new characters to the game's roster, with Yixuan and Ju Fufu debuting as the Waifei Peninsula's first S-Rank units while Pan Yinhu will join as a four-star character. The update will also welcome multiple new skins to the game, including customizable outfits for the Proxies and the previously-mentioned Yixuan. Players should now expect to see plenty of new opportunities to pull for their favorite characters.

A new chart shared to the Zenless Zone Zero leaks subreddit details the total number of Polychromes players can obtain during Version 2.0. Version 2.0 will feature a wealth of gacha currency even for free-to-play players, with a staggering 26 Encrypted Master Tapes, 18 Master Tapes, and 21,530 Polychromes available. Purchasing the "Inter-Knot Membership" 30-day pass will bump the total Polychrome count up to 25,490, with the Premium Battle Pass adding 4 Encrypted Master Tapes and an extra 780 Polychromes. Version 2.0 of Zenless Zone Zero is scheduled to launch on June 6.

Fans of Zenless Zone Zero will have plenty of chances to spend their hard-earned Polychromes beyond Version 2.0's new characters. Yixuan's debut during Version 2.0's first half will be joined by a re-run of one of Zenless Zone Zero's most popular Support characters in Astra Yao. Ju Fufu will also see the return of a fan-favorite character to the limited gacha banner, with Version 1.2 S-Rank character Caesar set to appear within the update's second half.

With plenty of new characters and an entirely new district on the way, Zenless Zone Zero's Version 2.0 will ring in the festivities for the game's first anniversary in style. Players will be able to claim not only a free character from the game's standard rotation of S-Rank units, but a free S-Rank W-Engine during the update as well. The RPG will also make its debut on another major platform with Version 2.0, welcoming the launch of Zenless Zone Zero on Xbox Series X/S.
