A recent leak from Zenless Zone Zero is hinting at the release of one of the game's most highly-anticipated characters, with Chinatsu said to launch in Version 2.6. The urban action RPG from HoYoverse has introduced a wide array of different characters and factions to the game since the release of the Waifei Peninsula in Version 2.0. Zenless Zone Zero debuted the Yunkui Summit faction as a protectorate of the Waifei Peninsula, while Spook Shack joined the RPG as a rag-tag group of paranormal investigators. However, fans have been waiting for a long time for one particular faction.

Zenless Zone Zero's "Angels of Delusion" faction has been one of the longest-rumored factions in the game, first being teased before the RPG's launch. The Angels of Delusion are a group of virtual idols within the universe of Zenless Zone Zero, with concept art for the group appearing ahead of its release and the group being mentioned numerous times in-game. HoYoverse even teased the first member of the Angels of Delusion within the RPG, with Chinatsu making an appearance during Zenless Zone Zero's Version 2.1. Now, the Angels of Delusion may be officially joining the game soon.

Zenless Zone Zero Leaks Major Character in Version 2.6

A recent update shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker Palito is hinting at the upcoming playable release of Chinatsu within Zenless Zone Zero. According to the leak, Chinatsu is expected to make her playable debut during the Version 2.6 update, coming as the first member of the Angels of Delusion faction. The leak also suggests that Chinatsu may be receiving a skin following her release in Version 2.6, with the game's closed beta test containing files referencing a skin for the character. Chinatsu and Zenless Zone Zero's Version 2.6 are expected to launch in February 2026.

Chinatsu's in-game debut within Zenless Zone Zero comes among a plethora of characters expected to join the roster of the urban action RPG. HoYoverse previously revealed multiple new cast members hailing from the Waifei Peninsula who will become playable throughout the coming updates, with both Dialyn and Banyue confirmed to launch during Version 2.4. HoYoverse's character teaser also showcased two more future characters beyond Version 2.4, teasing Ye Shunguang and Zhao as upcoming roster members likely joining in Version 2.5.

While fans look ahead to the future of Zenless Zone Zero's playable cast, the game's current Version 2.3 recently rolled out its second half. Zenless Zone Zero officially added five-star Ice Rupture character Yidhari to the game as Spook Shack's newest member, featured alongside a re-run of popular Version 2.0 character Ju Fufu. The update's second half also introduced some new events for players to participate in, including the "Chronicle of Counseling" fortune-telling event and "141 Eco Art Exhibition" coming soon as a combat-oriented event. Zenless Zone Zero fans should have lots to look forward to throughout the RPG's upcoming patches.
