Summary
- Zenless Zone Zero is partnering with McDonald's in China for exclusive merchandise.
- The collaboration hints at special meals for exclusive ZZZ goods and suits the title nicely due to its in-game restaurants and food.
Zenless Zone Zero is collaborating with McDonald's to bring exclusive merchandise to Chinese locations. In the past, other HoYoverse games have partnered with popular food chains around the world, and now it's Zenless Zone Zero's turn.
Although it's only been a few months since Zenless Zone Zero launched, the title has already gained substantial popularity among gamers. Developed by the well-known HoYoverse has contributed to this rise in fame, and fans also appreciate Zenless Zone Zero for its story premise, extravagant characters, and adorable Bangboo companions. Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.3 will be released on November 6 with new S Rank characters Yanagi and Lighter, as well as new gameplay content and events. In addition to the update, some players will have a chance to get exclusive items thanks to the game's first collaboration with McDonald's.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.3 Leak Reveals Free Bangboo
A Zenless Zone Zero leak reveals a rumored new Bangboo coming to Version 1.3, and avid players can reportedly get it for free.
During the official Zenless Zone Zero 1.3 Chinese livestream on Bilibili, HoYoverse revealed that the RPG is teaming up with McDonald's in the upcoming months, but the crossover is apparently exclusive to China. While developers have not given further details on the matter, prominent Genshin Impact leaker MadCroiX has shared some of the collaboration's exclusive merchandise. Among the items are an Anby Demara pin and a keychain with a Bangboo in a McDonald's uniform with the phrase "Best Friends Forever". The leak also shows what seems to be a large cardboard display of the McDonald's Bangboo. This isn't the first time a HoYoverse game has collaborated with a food chain exclusively in China, as Genshin Impact's partnership with KFC brought limited Melusine toys to fans from this region.
Zenless Zone Zero Is Collaborating With McDonald's Only in China
In the collaboration's official illustration, Zenless Zone Zero characters Anby, Nicole, Nekomiya, and Billy are seen eating McDonald's fried chicken and burgers in front of the restaurant. This suggests that the collaboration may involve buying a special meal in order to get the ZZZ goods. A McDonald's and Zenless Zone Zero crossover may be a good choice since the game features similar restaurants and foods within its universe, such as Cheesetopia.
Regardless of its limited availability, Zenless Zone Zero's team-up with McDonald's should be exciting news for players. If the collaboration is popular among fans, HoYoverse might see the potential of bringing it to other countries. Of course, not all the company's international partnerships have gone smoothly, as the recent crossover between McDonald's and Genshin Impact faced criticism because of players having trouble redeeming rewards. Hopefully, things will go better for Zenless Zone Zero and its future collaborations.

Don't go into the Hollows.
I know, I know, there's Ether in the Hollows, bizarre creations, even heritage of the old civilization, all precious treasures. But don't forget, there's also spatial disorder, monsters and mutants running rampant, and ultimately, a disaster that could swallow the world. They are not a place where ordinary people should go.
So don't go into Hollows.
Or at least, don't go in alone.
If you insist on getting into danger, go to New Eridu first.
This city where the good and the bad mix has many people who need the Hollows: Powerful wealthy tycoons, gangs that stalk the streets, conspiracy nuts, and ruthless officials.
Make your preparations there, find strong allies, and most importantly—
Find a "Proxy".
Only they can guide people out of the maze-like Hollows.
Good luck!
