Zenless Zone Zero revealed its newest character, Caesar King, who's expected to come out in the next update. The characters in Zenless Zone Zero are part of factions that play important roles in New Eridu.

One of the known factions in Zenless Zone Zero is the Sons of Calydon, which has a chaotic biker gang-like vibe with the slogan "I come, I see, I crash." Currently, there are only two playable characters from this faction, namely Piper Wheel and Lucy de Montefio, but Zenless Zone Zero announced the third Sons of Calydon member.

Zenless Zone Zero revealed the first banner character for Version 1.2: Caesar King, the leader of Sons Calydon. She's reportedly an S-rank Physical-type Defense character, which makes sense considering that she's holding a shield in her official art. Apart from leading the Sons of Calydon, the quotes in Caesar's drip marketing might have teased that she's related to Billy Kid.

Zenless Zone Zero has yet to reveal the release date for Caesar in Version 1.2, but fans can expect it around September. Regardless, many fans expressed their excitement for Caesar and stated their intention to pull for her once her banner comes out. Zenless Zone Zero players can also expect more S-rank and A-rank character announcements for Version 1.2 in the coming days.

It will be interesting to see how Caesar's addition will affect Zenless Zone Zero's current meta. She is the third Defense character in the game, along with Ben Bigger and Seth Lowell, and the first S-rank one at that, so she's expected to have strong defensive abilities. Caesar also completes the Sons of Calydon team composition, which means that Piper, who is a Physical-type Attack character, will become the main DPS. Both Caesar and Lucy will be her support characters, with the latter also applying burn to enemies.

On August 14, Zenless Zone Zero will release Version 1.1, titled "Undercover R&B." Zenless Zone Zero usually teases its upcoming characters in main story quests, so it's possible that Caesar might make some sort of appearance in Version 1.1.
