Zenless Zone Zero has officially revealed the first new characters set to arrive as part of the game's "Season 2" update, showing off two major teased characters. HoYoverse has given fans plenty of reasons to be excited about the future of the urban action RPG, with one of its biggest updates yet on the way soon. The developer confirmed that the game will officially launch its Version 2.0 update as the next patch, debuting a new area, lots of new characters, and kicking off the next arc of the game's story. Now, two new roster members are being teased.

HoYoverse's grand reveal for Zenless Zone Zero's Season 2 came with lots of major reveals about the future content arriving to the RPG. The next update will see the Proxies travel to the Waifei Peninsula, a new locale with a Chinese-themed aesthetic and a more open environment for players to explore. The trailer also teased plenty of future characters set to join the playable cast, including Yixuan, Ju Fufu, and the long-awaited Angels of Delusion faction. HoYoverse is now showing off the first new roster members for Zenless Zone Zero's Season 2.

HoYoverse officially shared the newest "Agent Record" posts for Zenless Zone Zero's next cast members late Friday night. Version 2.0 will reportedly feature two new characters to coincide with the release of Waifei Peninsula, with both Yixuan and Pan Yinhu set to debut. Both characters are introduced as members of the new "Yunkui Summit" faction, expected to play a major role in the story of Zenless Zone Zero's Season 2. No information was shared about either character's Attribute or Specialty within Zenless Zone Zero, though both are likely to debut as S-Rank units.

Zenless Zone Zero Reveals New Characters Yixuan and Pan Yinhu

Yixuan and Pan Yinhu's release in Zenless Zone Zero come as the former has been the subject of plenty of rumors ahead of her release. Past leaks and early information have heavily suggested Yixuan will receive a skin as part of the game's first anniversary celebration, with more skins rumored to be on the way as well. Yixuan has also seen rumblings that she may be the first roster member to boast a rumored new Specialty being added to Zenless Zone Zero. Yixuan and Pan Yinhu will debut with Zenless Zone Zero's Version 2.0, currently expected to launch on June 4.

The wealth of new content with Season 2 is not the only major change expected to arrive to Zenless Zone Zero in Version 2.0. HoYoverse officially revealed that Version 2.0 will welcome the long-awaited launch of Zenless Zone Zero on Xbox consoles. The Xbox version will reportedly support cloud gaming with Game Pass Ultimate and is even set to feature special in-game rewards for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Zenless Zone Zero fans look to have lots to be excited for with the game's upcoming Season 2.
