After plenty of teases, HoYoverse finally confirms the start date and time for Version 1.6 of Zenless Zone Zero's special program livestream. Similar to HoYoverse's other live service titles, the content cycle rolls on with Zenless Zone Zero, as Version 1.6 is now right around the corner.

Currently, fans have been enjoying Version 1.5, which introduced players to Astra Yao and her bodyguard, Evelyn Chevalier, during an in-game New Year's style celebration. The version also introduced a fishing minigame into Zenless Zone Zero, continuing the game's trend of adding new things to do that may exist outside of the core gameplay loop. Over the past few weeks, new leaks and teases have started to reveal the upcoming content in Version 1.6 and now, HoYoverse is ready to officially reveal what's coming next.

New leaks from Zenless Zone Zero are showing off the gameplay animations for upcoming Version 1.6 S-Rank character Silver Soldier Anby.

Version 1.6, known as Among the Forgotten Ruins, is right around the corner and prior to its launch, HoYoverse is planning to hold a special livestream to reveal all sorts of new details. Fans have already seen the three new agents releasing for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6 including Silver Soldier Anby and Trigger, two agents from the OBOL Squad faction. As for the third, leaks have indicated that Pulchra will be free for Zenless Zone Zero players, similar to how Asaba Harumasa was given to players during Version 1.4.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6 Special Program Start Date and Time

  • Friday, February 28 at 19:30 (UTC+8)

The Twitter post doesn't go into too many details, though fans can expect to see another limited-time redemption code to use in Zenless Zone Zero, alongside the new gameplay and content reveals. Typically, players will get to see the new agents in action as the dev team goes over their special moves and attacks, while the version's special events and gameplay loop are also featured.

As have been standard in previous updates, recent Zenless Zone Zero leaks hint that new areas could also be arriving to the game. Joining the likes of Blazewood, Starloop, and Port Elpis, Version 1.6 is rumored to contain a handful of new areas, including a mall and a lab, the latter of which is heavily associated with another upcoming character named Huge Vlad. Either way, fans won't have to wait too much longer to see what's coming in Version 1.6.

Don't go into the Hollows.
I know, I know, there's Ether in the Hollows, bizarre creations, even heritage of the old civilization, all precious treasures. But don't forget, there's also spatial disorder, monsters and mutants running rampant, and ultimately, a disaster that could swallow the world. They are not a place where ordinary people should go.
So don't go into Hollows.
Or at least, don't go in alone.
If you insist on getting into danger, go to New Eridu first.
This city where the good and the bad mix has many people who need the Hollows: Powerful wealthy tycoons, gangs that stalk the streets, conspiracy nuts, and ruthless officials.
Make your preparations there, find strong allies, and most importantly—
Find a "Proxy".
Only they can guide people out of the maze-like Hollows.
Good luck!
