Version 1.4 for Zenless Zone Zero was a big moment for many players, bringing a conclusion to many events that began at the game's launch, while also bringing about a highly anticipated character in Hoshimi Miyabi. As the current version begins to wind down, HoYoverse has turned fans' attention to what's next, releasing a Special Program livestream for Zenless Zone Zero that reveals Version 1.5 and what's included.

Zenless Zone Zero Leak Teases New Game Mode in Version 1.5

A new Zenless Zone Zero leak is showing off a brand-new endgame game mode set to arrive to the HoYoverse urban action RPG with Version 1.5.

For many fans, the biggest part of Version 1.5 for Zenless Zone Zero is the addition of two new S-Rank Agents. Astra Yao arrives during the first phase, and she's an Ether Support character, making her a rarer character since only Nicole and Zhu Yuan are the only other Ether-based agents. Astra's unique W-Engine, Elegant Vanity, will also be available to pull for as well. Phase 2 is set to begin on February 12, which adds Astra's Fire Attacker Bodyguard, Evelyn Chevalier. As expected, her W-Engine, Heartstring Nocturne, will also be available for a limited time as well.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 Launches on January 22

Alongside Astra and Evelyn, Version 1.5 has plenty more for players to check out, including a new special story after Zenless Zone Zero wrapped up its main narrative in Version 1.4. The S-Rank Bangboo unit Snap will also be on offer, new check-in events, further game optimizations, as well as evolutions for existing activities. The next Hollow Zero phase will be available called Cleanse Calamity, fans can play the new Arcade game called Mach 25, and Zenless Zone Zero is also adding new costumes for Ellen, Nicole, and Astra Yao.

Version 1.5 also brings about a highly requested feature, finally adding banner reruns to Zenless Zone Zero. Similar to HoYoverse's other games, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero is finally making past S-Rank agents available to pull for again, starting with Ellen Joe during the first phase along with her specific W-Engine. During the midseason switch, Phase 2 will then make Qingyi available to pull for and her specific W-Engine as well.
