Zenless Zone Zero Reveals Two New Characters for Version 2.3

Zenless Zone Zero has officially revealed two brand-new characters set to join the game's playable roster during the upcoming Version 2.3 update, showcasing both Lucia and Komano Manato. The debut of the Waifei Peninsula and the HoYoverse urban action RPG's "Season 2" has brought a wide variety of new cast members to the game, with plenty more coming soon. Versions 2.0 and 2.1 of Zenless Zone Zero have introduced characters like Yixuan, Ju Fufu, and Yuzuha, while Version 2.2's launch in September will add Seed and Orphie. Now, Zenless Zone Zero is teasing even more upcoming roster additions.

The Waifei Peninsula's multitude of new characters has also come with the debut of several new in-game factions associated with the region. Yixuan, Ju Fufu, and Pan Yinhu all debuted as members of the "Yunkui Summit" faction, acting as a protectorate for the citizens of Waifei Peninsula. Version 2.1 would later introduce "Spook Shack" to the game as members of an Inter-Knot forum centering around paranormal investigations, with Version 2.1 character Yuzuha acting as one of the group's leaders. Two more members of Spook Shack are now set to join Zenless Zone Zero's playable cast in Version 2.3.

Zenless Zone Zero officially unveiled Lucia and Komano Manato as two new characters coming in Version 2.3 via the game's official social media channels. Lucia, expected to debut as an S-Rank character, is introduced as a member of Spook Shack, with her tribe said to "live on the edge of a Hollow, far from civilization." Manato has already appeared several times within Zenless Zone Zero's main story, acting as the brawns of the operation for Spook Shack and expected to be an A-Rank unit. Lucia and Manato will release with Version 2.3 on October 15.

Lucia and Manato's debut within Zenless Zone Zero will add even more members to a faction that has introduced multiple powerful characters. Yuzuha is currently considered to be one of the strongest support characters in Zenless Zone Zero, serving as a top-tier support for popular Anomaly units like Miyabi and Yanagi. Alice has also been seen as a powerful DPS unit within Zenless Zone Zero, dishing out flashy Physical attacks for high burst damage and working alongside Yuzuha as well.

While fans wait for Lucia and Manato, Zenless Zone Zero's Version 2.2 update is set to bring some exciting roster additions. The patch will officially introduce two new members of Obol Squad to the game, with Seed debuting first as an Electric Attack character and the artillerist for the New Eridu Defense Force unit. The second half will welcome the debut of Orphie & Magus, with the pairing featuring the Obol Squad captain joining the roster as a Fire Attack unit. Zenless Zone Zero's upcoming updates look to be bringing lots of noteworthy roster updates in the near future.
