HoYoverse revealed major news for Zenless Zone Zero, including new content and changes coming in Version 2.0 as well as the game's first anniversary details and Xbox release. With version 1.7 starting to wind down, HoYoverse gave Zenless Zone Zero fans a brief look at the upcoming Version 2.0, setting big expectations for the next big phase of the game.
Rumors and leaks have continued to surface regarding the upcoming content, including a now confirmed redesign for Zenless Zone Zero's Ellen Joe. The Shark Thiren is getting buffed inside of Version 2.0, which the developer says will help unlock her hidden potential while boosting combat capabilities. Alongside new events, the patch also improves the fast travel system with a 3D map, improving Fairy's autoexplore, and revealed a new Suiban Temple Management feature as well.
Zenless Zone Zero Season 2 Reveals Major Content and Massive Gameplay Changes
HoYoverse reveals major changes coming to Zenless Zone Zero for the launch of Season 2, including tons of new content and gameplay.
Naturally, the biggest piece of the presentation was all the new content coming in Version 2.0, including the new map called Waifei Peninsula, Areospace City, and Failume Heights. The three previously revealed agents were also shown off, including the S-Rank agent Ju Fufu and A-Rank Pan Yinhu. June 6 kicks off with Yixuan, who has a unique attribute called Auric Ink and her specialty is known as Rupture, which deals damage based on her Attack and Max HP values. New Disk Drives will also be released for both S-Rank characters like Yunkui Tales and King of the Summit.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0 Release Date

Zenless Zone Zero anniversary leaks and rumors have continued to swirl, though with this Version 2.0 special program, HoYoverse has finally confirmed all the details. To mark the first anniversary of Zenless Zone Zero's launch, players will be able to choose 1 of the 6 standard S-Rank Agents and S-Rank W-Engines, plus earn 1,600 polychrome, 20 Encrypted Master Tapes, 10 Boopon, and any monochrome purchases in the shop will be doubled the first time. Protagonists Belle and Wise will also get special outfits, and players can also unlock an anniversary avatar and title.
As if all that new content wasn't enough, Zenless Zone Zero is also launching on Xbox the same day. Xbox fans will finally be able to experience the free-to-play action title, and to help new players catch up, HoYoverse revealed a new Starter Pack that includes valuable resources like 150,000 Dennies, W-Engine materials, Investigator logs, as well as Master Tapes to pull for characters on the standard banner.

But don't forget, there's also spatial disorder, monsters and mutants running rampant, and ultimately, a disaster that could swallow the world. They are not a place where ordinary people should go.
So don't go into Hollows.
Or at least, don't go in alone.
If you insist on getting into danger, go to New Eridu first.
