Zenless Zone Zero Team Composition Guide

While fighting in the Hollows in Zenless Zone Zero, players can create a squad to battle together inside the corrupted zone. A team in ZZZ consists of three Agents, and, if players have gone far enough, they can also bring one Bangboo to assist the squad.

Having a three-characters-team may sound like it'll be easier to manage compared to a four-person-team like in Genshin Impact, but having a maximum of three units actually means players need to be more careful of who they pick inside each squad. Team Comp In Zenless Zone Zero

Creating a team comp in Zenless Zone Zero is not as straightforward as other HoYoverse games such as Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. This is mostly because the DPS and Sub-DPS roles are merged into different specialties, such as Attack, Stun, and Anomaly.

However, one aspect you can always keep in mind when making your ZZZ team comp is the character’s Additional Ability. This passive skill becomes available when there’s another Agent of the same Attribute or Faction.

For example, the Support character, Rina, is an Electric Agent from the Victoria Housekeeping Faction. This means her Additional Ability activates when she’s paired with another Electric unit, such as Grace, or someone from the same Faction, like Lycaon.

Rina works as a Support for basically everyone, since her buff is a PEN Ratio bonus. Still, if you consider Rina’s Additional Ability, you can see that it leans towards the Electric-Shock team, making her a better option for Grace compared to Lycaon.
