Burnice Build In ZZZ

The Sons of Calydon in Zenless Zone Zero is a biker gang that does its bidding in the Outer Ring of New Eridu. This ZZZ faction looks up to Caesar as its current leader, although Caesar hasn't always been the captain of the team, as evidenced by the cameo of the old leader.

The other members of the Sons of Calydon include Lucy, Piper, Lighter, and Burnice. Burnice is known as a mixologist or bartender for the group and looks as crazy as Grace in terms of her craft. In combat, Burnice uses fire to burn enemies, causing the following Burnice builds in ZZZ to be ideal for her.

The best weapon for Burnice in ZZZ is Flamemaker Shaker, which enhances Energy Regen, allowing Burnice to use her EX Special Attack more often. When she uses EX Special Attack or Assist Attack, this W-Engine will also increase her DMG by up to 35%.

Burnice's core passive applies the Scorched debuff on the target. When a squad member hits the affected enemy, the Scorched effect will trigger Afterburn, dealing Fire DMG based on Burnice's ATK and accumulating Fire Anomaly. Burnice’s off-field Fire DMG also synergizes with Flamemaker Shaker, where the weapon doubles the DMG boost while Burnice is off-field.

The second-best option for Burnice is Grace's signature weapon in ZZZ, Fusion Compiler. This W-Engine increases Anomaly Proficiency when the wielder uses Special Attack or EX Special Attack.

For A-Rank weapons, Burnice can use Roaring Ride or Rainforest Gourmet, both synergizing with her EX Special Attack and Energy consumption. If the two aren't available, other 4-star weapons like Electro-Lip Gloss and Weeping Gemini are viable as well. Meanwhile, new players can use [Magnetic Storm] Bravo.

Burnice is a quick-swap character where players would want to bring her in, consume all her Energy with an EX Special Attack, then swap her out. Because of this, she won’t take too much field time, making 4pc Chaos Jazz the perfect Drive Discs for her. 4pc Freedom Blues is also fine if Chaos Jazz isn’t ready yet.

For the extra 2pc, focus on Anomaly Proficiency via Freedom Blues or Chaos Jazz until Burnice has at least 300 Anomaly Proficiency. Players can also opt for Swing Jazz for Energy Regen or Inferno Metal for Fire DMG Bonus if that’s what’s available.

Since Burnice is an Anomaly character, her 4-slot should be Anomaly Proficiency to boost her Burn damage. In 5-slot, Fire DMG Bonus is preferable, but ATK is also okay. Meanwhile, for the 6-slot, Anomaly Mastery is the best option to trigger Burn faster, but Energy Regen is also acceptable to quickly enable Burnice’s EX Special Attack.
