It’s nice to see the Anomaly playstyle getting characters that can fully take advantage of the mechanics in Zenless Zone Zero. Jane Doe is a Physical Anomaly unit who can trigger Assault easily because of her kit that continuously buffs her ability to do so. She makes for a perfect on-field DPS or a Sub-DPS who can quickly swap with other characters.
Even with her Core Passive granting her Crit on her Assault Anomaly, Jane Doe still needs a team to help amplify her DPS in Zenless Zone Zero. For that, this guide will help players looking for the best teams for Jane Doe in Zenless Zone Zero.
Zenless Zone Zero Redeem Codes (December 2025)
Zenless Zone Zero codes can help players amass Polychromes faster to get the Agents they want.
2 Jane Doe + Qingyi + Grace
Jane Doe works best with other Anomaly units, like Grace in Zenless Zone Zero. Their ability to go back and forth with their Shock and Assault Anomalies creates a synergy for this team to trigger Disorder. Qingyi can quickly Stun enemies and massively increase the Stun DMG Multiplier for Jane Doe and Grace to enjoy an amplified Shock and Assault run while enemies are Stunned. This team heavily relies on triggering Disorder between Jane Doe and Grace as you quick-swap them to quickly install their Anomalies.
Initiate with Grace’s Shock Anomaly and follow it up as quickly as possible with Jane Doe’s Assault Anomaly. This will trigger the Disorder reaction and will end the Shock Anomaly by calculating all the Shock DMG at once instead of continuously dealing DMG over time. Keep switching back and forth between the two units to end their Anomalies with Disorder, and every time you end Grace’s Shock with an Assault, you’ll see some of the highest DMG numbers in Zenless Zone Zero.
Team Roles
- Jane Doe: Sub-DPS, Assault Buildup
- Qingyi: Stunner, buffer
- Grace: Sub-DPS, Shock Buildup
1 Jane Doe + Seth + Grace
Adding Seth to a Jane Doe and Grace team in Zenless Zone Zero gives the team a different approach during combat. Seth is not a Stun character like Qingyi, he’s a Defense unit who works perfectly with Anomaly characters because of his buff and debuff. Seth grants the active character a shield that grants them a good amount of Anomaly Proficiency on top of absorbing DMG. He also reduces enemies' Anomaly Buildup resistance, which is perfect for Grace and Jane Doe in this team.
Seth’s Supportive abilities ensure Jane Doe will keep triggering Assaults over and over again, which makes it less forgiving for them to stay on the field triggering their Anomalies instead of heavily relying on Disorder. Alternatively, players can also use Rina for her PEN buff. Rina's Additional Ability also increases the duration of Shock, which means players can trigger higher Shock Disorder DMG.
Team Roles
- Jane Doe: Sub-DPS, Assault Buildup
- Seth: Shielder, buffer, debuffer
- Grace: Sub-DPS, Shock Buildup
