Support characters are a must-have in every Zenless Zone Zero squad to enhance the main DPS. However, the term "support" in ZZZ is more flexible, as it's not only limited to those with the Support class. For example, Defense and Stun units are generally considered a support, along with actual Support Agents, as both Defense and Stun characters help the main DPS one way or another.

For example, Stun characters help stun the enemy and allow the main DPS to deal increased damage to them. Meanwhile, Defense units offer both survivability and various buffs that can be adjusted accordingly. Lighter is one of the prime examples of a supportive Stun Agent, where his ability allows him to quickly stun the enemies while also granting DMG buff to the team and RES reduction to the enemy. Lighter is not only a Stun character that requires Impact to maximize his stunning skill, but his Additional Ability grants Ice and Fire DMG to his squad according to his Impact. He can easily give a 25% DMG Bonus without any Impact, but once he exceeds 170 points, every 10 additional points increases this bonus by 5%. In total, Lighter needs 270 Impact to grant a maximum of 75% Ice and Fire DMG Bonus.

Therefore, the best W-Engine for Lighter in ZZZ are those that grant extra Impact stat, like the S-Rank Blazing Laurel and Ice-Jade Teapot. Both weapons increase Impact on both their sub-stat and passive, and have a DMG buff for the team. For A-Rank option, the W-Engine that gives the most Impact is Hellfire Gears.

If players don't have the aforementioned options, then they can go for weapons with Impact sub-stat and Daze bonus on its passive like The Restrained, Precious Fossilized Core, and Six Shooter. Beginner players can also opt for B-Rank W-Engine (Vortex) Arrow.

Players must use Impact main stat on the 6-slot and have the 6% Impact bonus from Shockstar Disco for Lighter's Drive Discs in ZZZ, but other than that, it's fine to free style his Drive Discs. Players can either build Lighter with Crit or ATK. For better support, it's best to use 4pc Shockstar Disco, but for more DPS, go for 4pc Inferno Metal, especially if Burnice or another Burn Agent is on the team.
