Qingyi Build In ZZZ

Faction plays a large role in Zenless Zone Zero as it dictates how some Agents synergize with each other and get stronger through their Additional Ability. This is why characters like Soldier 11 in ZZZ suffer when she's released as the only Agent from her faction, the Obol Squad. Similarly, Zhu Yuan used to have no one else from her faction when she was released in version 1.0, but HoYoverse quickly gave her company with the release of Qingyi.

Qingyi is a Stun-Electric character whose job is to build up Daze on enemies and quickly Stun them. Once the enemies are Stunned, they will take larger damage from the squad while also being unable to attack, making it safe to unleash everything on the foe before they regain their composure. For Qingyi to do this effectively, it's crucial to know Qingyi build in ZZZ.

Qingyi Skills, Explained - Zenless Zone Zero

Like many Stun characters in Zenless Zone Zero, Qingyi relies on her kit to Daze enemies and gives her team a big advantage over them. Unsurprisingly, one of Qingyi’s most important mechanics is her Core skill, which stacks Subjugation on enemies to increase the DMG Multiplier until it's over 200%. She mainly stacks through her Basic ATK and can trigger 10 stacks by triggering a Perfect Dodge.

Qingyi gets most of her DMG and Daze through her Rush Attacks phase, which can be reached through multiple situations. After finishing three consecutive Basic ATKs, Qingyi starts hitting the ground around her dealing Electric DMG for as long as you keep tapping her Basic ATK. You can also enter this mode after dodging an enemy ATK and using EX Special Attack. These attacks quickly build up her Subjugation stacks and can stun enemies around her.

Qingyi Best W-Engines In ZZZ - Zenless Zone Zero

Without a doubt, Ice-Jade Teapot is the best W-Engines for Qingyi in ZZZ. The S-Rank W-Engine compliments her kit by allowing her to stack more Impact when dealing Basic ATK DMG, which is what she’s good at. Not only that, but Qingyi can further increase her team’s DMG through Ice-Jade Teapot’s passive when acquiring more than 15 stacks, which adds to the value of Qingyi’s role as a Stun character.

From her Signature weapon, it’s hard to find a good replacement, but Precious Fossilized Core is an A-Rank W-Engine that can grant her up to 20 extra Daze before upgrading. Hellfire Gears is an S-Rank weapon that grants Qingyi the ability to cast more EX Special Attacks, which further increases her Impact stat.

Finally, Demara Battery Mark II and The Restrained are decent W-Engines that can be used on Qingyi because of their Impact Sub-Stat and useful passives, until better options are acquired.

As a Stun character, Qingyi needs Drive Discs that can help her Daze enemies faster. One of the best DD for the job is the 4-Shockstar Disco, which increases her Impact by 6% while helping her inflict 20% more Daze on enemies. Qingyi is a fast hitter and Shockstar Disco perfectly works with her kit. As for the 2 pieces left, you can build more Anomaly Proficiency using 2-Freedom Blues, or build more Energy Regen by planting 2-Swing Jazz. Qingyi also gains extra ATK from her Core Skill Additional Ability, so you can use offensive DDs to increase her DMG.

For stats, prioritize Crit/Anomaly Proficiency on her 4-slot, Electric DMG on her 5-slot, and Impact on her 6-slot. You can also build ATK on both the fourth and fifth slots if you’re going to build Qingyi to deal DMG. However, increasing Impact is essential for Qingyi’s build in ZZZ, so having that stat on her sixth slot should be a priority. As for Sub-stats, you can go for Anomaly Proficiency, ATK, PEN, and Crit. Choose an offensive build if she’s operating as a Sub-DPS.
