See AllNew Open World Game Is Bigger Than Red Dead Redemption 2, Twice the Size of Skyrim
The biggness of the map, the most uninterest aspect of any game. Crimson desert doesn't seem to have any other features so I am awfully unhyped... I don't get why the industry still talks like this. CD project had their 30 second rule (maybe not 30, don't really remember) that stated that you should not be able to travers the landscape more than 30 second without seeing anything interesting. In KCD2 the best area, according to me, is trosky which is about 1/10 of Skyrim but still offered me around 100 hours of gameplay.
On the other side of the spectrum, Assassin's Creed games always go above and beyond to be insanely big and thereby impossible to finish for anybody that has a job and you can feel the watering down of quality like the water in music-festival overpriced beer. "Go there and kill 10 sharks". Cool quest bro...
I love open world RPGs, but saying that the map is big is like saying; 'do you want to quite your job and leave your family to play this soulless garbage that probably don't even have a unique character because the only thing they seem to be proud of is it's size...'
Games With Deep Base-Building Freedom
I don't think Valheim has changed in a year, it's the same as it has been for the last five years, only more.
Also, state of decay, the second was a disaster, if you liked that mess you should definitely try the first one, which was actually awesome 👍
