Bob Yes it's world building is definitely unmatched. The article was naming the best anime, not manga. I agree, the manga is pretty good, but the One Peace anime is not the best.

I do think that the newer generations of anime are learning off of old ones, so presently today's animes are much better than they used to be. Attack On Titan is (in my opinion) as good as One Piece. Which is just one example.

I feel the people that make these articles need to put more effort into these, and actually research what is statistically the best, by actual worldbuilding, character development, animation, story telling, etc..

To be Honest, One Piece is good, but considering it the best is meh.

It's pacing is a little out of wack.

Solo Leveling was smart, as people most recognize the cool parts of something, and solo leveling made their whole anime cool parts.

I'm not saying Solo Leveling is the best either.

If I were to put my opinion on what is the best, it'd have to be Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

Dragon Ball was kinda boring imo
