Consoles have started the trend of becoming “midrange PCs” since the OG Xbox (2001). Once physical media leaves consoles gamers will just transition into full PC gamers as consoles are becoming console unfriendly. Still with current inflation rates consoles are still at a fair price. Panasonic 3DO (1995) for $699.99 anyone?
