No-brainer decision. Astarion has disrespected the autonomy of hundreds of people in his lifetime, leading many of them to a grizzly and undeserved fate. He can quite literally suck it up for a permanent +2 to strength.

Good thing there's four other magic trees and two magic-adjacent trees. Why are you kiting enemies when you should have high level conjuration and illusion magic? Besides, even on legendary difficulty destruction magic does plenty of damage as long as you have a half decent build.

Would it accomplish anything? Dark Souls remastered is the same concept yet it's been ignored for years. SotFS only became popular because it "fixed" Dark Souls 2. Dark Souls 3 does not need fixing and FromSoft has proven twice over that remastering a game for better graphics isn't their strong suit.

Better for them to focus their energy on new projects instead of fixing what isn't broken.
