Like Dominik mentioned, I put Three Houses up here because of the "come outside we won't jump you" philosophy to fighting enemies - but I'm always happy to see another Alliance Alive appreciator on the threads! If we can get through Hakurei Castle, we can get through anything.

I think routine is an excellent part of why dungeon crawling works in roguelikes! It's a great way to get in somewhere, experiment with your build, then get out and have the time to rest and recover, preferably with new items or at least some extra funds to have made the trek worthwhile.
