They can pull back whatever they want. Exclusives do NOT drive hardware sales as they learned when they started releasing their games on PC to massive success. If they want to stop getting my money, then go right ahead. I have plenty of backlog and tons of great games coming, I don't need anything from Sony they don't want to sell me.

When I was born my parents already had a Pong game and an Atari 2600. Soon we had Colecovision and then Nintendo and finally my full conversion to PC. I could never have dreamed then that games like Skyrim or Cyberpunk would even exist. It sucks being old, but I feel so thankful to have seen the industry grow and for experiences to be this incredible. It's something people born later take for granted. I have problems with probably every game if I break it down, but overall it's just so incredible to see how far the industry has come and how much better it will continue to be. Graphics will never beat out good old fashioned design, but they're still amazing.

I'll never get these people who find a sense of pride in not trying things, not knowing about things, and not experiencing things. As if somehow reading a book has more intrinsic value than playing a good game. There are bad books and profound games. Here's a thought, Steve. You know you can do both? You can play videogames and still read important books. What a tool. Oh well, his loss.

No remaster and no PC release is just dumb business when it comes to all these games. It's just leaving money on the table. Most PC gamers have no reason to buy a PS or Xbox, so it's not helping to move consoles.

It was an awful game and had zero potential. The story wasn't interesting, the setting wasn't interesting and the combat was bad.Bioware is just one of the countless victims of CEO's that don't understand the very industry they guide. Had they stuck to the Bioware rpg template set by Dragon Age Origins, Mass Effect, and there other classics, while keeping their expectations realistic, they'd still be making good games that made good money. Instead a bunch of idiots in monkey suits were too busy chasing trends so they could buy their 5th Tesla.

Fair, but 2 was the worst in my opinion. Basing who lives and dies based on a time limit the game never lets you know about is idiotic. That and 2 is when the game stopped being an rpg. If I want a shooter, I'll go find the 1349 that are better. It was supposed to be an rpg and they abandoned that with 2 and with the atrocity that was ME3 it was even worse. Most overrated game series I can think of outside of Dragon Age after the brilliant first game.

Mass Effect is the most overrated rpg series in recent memory. The choices mean almost nothing at the end of the game and it just basically comes down to the ending you get is based on numbers you have little to do to get. Time limits are awful in games meant for exploration. They've never added anything to a game and they never will. Squad composition should never be a factor in outcome in quests because it makes the experience arbitrarily linear for no benefit. This is such a bad take on a bad series. That and where do we go from here? Millenia old robotic cycles of galactic death and rebirth to what? A second death star, a third? The whole series was lame. The only good game was the first one when we could pretend our choices would matter eventually (spolier - they didn't) and when we were set out to explore. That and Bioware thinks the space part of sci-fi doesn't matter, or they didn't have the talent to implement it, so spaceships are little more than load screens. Rubbish.

I think it's a great idea. These companies are making us wait too long between entries in some of these games. I'd still buy expansions annually for games as old as Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3 and New Vegas if they released them and they were meaty and reviewed well. When Elder Scrolls 6 comes out we're talking a 15 year+ gap without any new single player Elder Scrolls content. That's just dumb. Outsource expansions to another dev team and keep em coming.

I just can't see how it can keep up visually using that engine and with the same people there for years I don't see animations or character models improving. Then you get to the many baffling design decisions they've made over their last 3 main titles and I just don't believe they can deliver. I feel like it's gonna look like something from 10+ years ago and be full of awful design. That and the stories and quests they've done with Fallout 4, Fallout 76 and Starfield have been terrible. The writing has been atrocious. I noped out of Starfield after a good 100+ hour try after I finished doing a quest I thought might lead somewhere interesting and nope, it was just get the janitor a cup of coffee. Yeah, I'm not optimistic.

It's not likely going to happen. Fallout 3 is next, we know that from the court report from a few years back and the 100% accurate recent leak. Second, Morowind can't be done the same way as Oblivion, it would have to be a ground up full remake and that's a complete project that would take years. Today's crowd simply wouldn't like the clunky systems, lack of voice acting, simplistic environments etc. They might do a full remake one day, but the best bet is the upcoming Skywind mod which should release next year based on progress data. I don't care if console users get it or not. Write a letter to MS or Sony.

I don't care when the games are set, I just want them to be good and I just want them period. Almost 50 years of Star Wars and we've gotten two rpg's and a handfull of shooters of wildly varying quality. It's such a waste.

How many times is this series getting a reboot? The second was a reboot of the first. Army of Darkness didn't feel related and I thought the most recent one was already a reboot.

We can't just keep getting the same story over and over though. It's too successful to leave alone for a modern film studio so at least they're trying something new. Grief can have mutliple sources and multiple effects on people as well. While he may have pushed past one experience, other things can happen.

I don't get why people lately are acting like having a first and third person view is somehow a new revloutionary feature. It's been in many big rpg's like this for years. The only real hold outs I can think of are CDPR where they force 3rd in Witcher 3 and 1st in Cyberpunk for no real reason for either.

I feel like Obsidian is kind of slumping into a similar spot Bethesda finds itself in over the last decade or so. They just haven't made very good games and it feels like they're out of ideas. Obsidian's last great game was Fallout New Vegas and that came out in 2010. Bethesda is in about the same bout since 2011 with Skyrim. Obsidian's games just feel flat and their worlds too gamey, like they don't exist as real places but are just set dressing to tell a story. With Bethesda they just don't care anymore. Their lack of ambition is staggering. Look at Starfield. It's just Skyrim in space. Word walls that granted shouts are now strange structures that grant magic powers. Heck, they even call the player Starborne, just like Dragonborn. They had a big hit with Skyrim and just don't know how to move beyond it and their games don't try anything advanced. Space travel in No Man's Sky blows Starfield away and it was made by four people. Bethesda has over 400 people making these mediocre games.

Why do you want more Gremlins? It was a perfect movie. There never should have been a Gremlins 2, but somehow 45 years later we need a third? The remakes and rehashes just show hollywood is devoid of creativity. It's the same people, or their kids, making worse versions of the same movies over and over and over. Even worse are fans that just want the same thing 50 times instead of something new. Those movies in the 80's were special because they were new and well done. When's the last time we could say that about a decade of film? Maybe the 90's? Certainly not after.
